55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 9, 2009 On the other hand, if the Wings win a game with Hell reffing, how confident will they be for future games? This could be a good momentum builder for the rest of the series. Wonder what he'd do if Homer skated over to the penalty box right before the game with a cooler, a boom box and a copy of War and Peace?
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted May 9, 2009 Ok guys, I'm sure the reffing won't be that bad I can't even type that with a straight face...
mjlegend 155 Report post Posted May 9, 2009 I'd rather the 1997 version of Kerry Fraser than O'Halloran. I'd rather have a 2097 version of Kerry Fraser than this guy. At least Watson now thinks he has to even something up for us. My hope is that O'Drivebyvictim doesn't make the cut for the next round.
drfnr14 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2009 If O'Halloran calls off a Holmstrom goal, after Brad Watson already f***ed us, I will absolutely blow a gasket. if that happens, someone will have to pull out the shotty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RoninJai 5 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 Wonder what he'd do if Homer skated over to the penalty box right before the game with a cooler, a boom box and a copy of War and Peace? That's awesome. hard for me to keep telling myself that Bettman is not trying to screw the wings but I mean Dan O offciating game 5 after what happened in game 3 how can i not? EXACTLY. They're not even trying anymore, probably because they realize we're not as dumb as they hope we are. C'mon...they blamed the color of the Ducks' uniforms for Watson's f-up in a press conference. REALLY? The color of the uniform? I didn't see the presser, but I can't believe they weren't snickering amongst themselves while dishing out that bs.

Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 Might as well start the game Wings -1, Ducks 0. I'd take that option if it meant not having O'Hollabackgirl ref the game. Unfortunately I'm not sure you can pen him down for only one goal lost/caused-against the Wings. f*** Dan O, f*** him with a pineapple.

Wingsallwin 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 Post one more but if this one is really officailly confirmed, the Wings will receive some bad calls tomorrow I think. However, as we have been watching the Wings for more than 10 years, the Wings overcame so many biased referees against them. If the Wings are the true champions, they should be ready to overcome the disadvantage of the biased referee.

dcd 5 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 How many times has O'Halloran not only f***ed us, but at home? I think they've all been on home ice, thanks NHL! I'm pretty sure he was the dick who waved off Datsyuk's goal from the point in the WCF Game 4 last year @ Dallas. Said that Holmstrom's butt was over the line. They didn't replay it inside the arena and I thought it was legit until I got home, watched the replay, and almost broke my TV.
EuroTwin 240 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 here, let me give you a transcript of the play by play ahead of time "Holmstrom crosses over center ice... and there's a penalty being called - goaltender interference from the blue line" What do you want to bet he comes up with "Intent to Interfere with the Goalie" the second Homer skates onto the ice. ComradeWasabi 109 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 What do you want to bet he comes up with "Intent to Interfere with the Goalie" the second Homer skates onto the ice. It's not when he interfered with the goalie that counts, it's when he meant to interfere with the goalie.

Im sorry I don't watch The Wings during the regular season! Does he get called for that alot? In the playoffs he is always on the line of interference (they dont call it as much in the playoffs). Ms_Hockey 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 Im sorry I don't watch The Wings during the regular season! Does he get called for that alot? In the playoffs he is always on the line of interference (they dont call it as much in the playoffs). Danny O calls Holmstrom for goaltender interference as if it's part of any normal Wings game. I can't begin to recount the number of BS interference calls he's gotten and disallowed goals because his "backside" aka his ASS was in the crease.
