I think we're nitpicking a little bit about Sidney's Post Conference. I don't think he whined much at all, honestly. And trust me, I can't stand him. It's unfortunate for him now because everything he says is so under scrutiny.

Are you serious? There were at least two instances in this game alone. He gets decked, and retaliates on Zetterberg's back. He loses, and he slashes Malts as he's on the way to congratulate Ozzy. If thats not whining, I don't know what is.

But the fact that Crosby felt the need to slash him after Maltby talking means the Wings are already in his head. Hopefully, the Wings can get him to retaliate some more later in the series.

While I felt that overall Sidney had a respectable interview, I thought his comments about Zetterberg-gate (to cover or not to cover) and Slash-gate were bordering if not sitting firmly at a low whine.

That's not even remotely true, he said himself he doesn't know the rule about the puck being on a player and covering it and he said he's never seen something like that, don't cut him down just to cut him down, you're better than that.

And at least he was honest about his two-hander on Maltby and would you really be shocked at Maltby, who played a hell of a game and just won the game, to talk sh*t to Sid?
