Can you clarify your post that was in response to mine on the first page then. Your wording is confusing then.

You're putting words in my mouth, suggesting that I said the Wings cannot win without ZDH scoring. How can I unconfuse you?

I said, basically, with Mule out there the Wings have a better chance than relying on ZDH to score buckets full of goals. Does that help?

My Aaron Downey shrine. Also known in other parts of the world as the interwebs. Myp2p.eu!

I don't know how you can watch it on those streaming sites. I have given up trying to watch the Premier League on those things. Never can get a good feed.

Time for Euro Twin #2 to break out of his goal-scoring slump this game? I seem to recall Z always playing good against Edmonton, but maybe that's my memory playing tricks on me.

4-1 Wings. Howard with a great game but gives up one soft goal just to keep things interesting on LGW. Dats and Hank tear it up, with Holmstrom scoring 3 goals from deflections and rebounds.

Staggering to me that they haven't sent Abdelkader down to Grand Rapids yet. Can someone explain to me the point in having him scratched for every 3rd game and when he does play he plays 8-9 minutes? Surely he'd be better off in Grand Rapids?

I think there might be 2 reasons:

* They are on a road-trip right now. I don't know how they usually do it, but it's sounds logical to think that they'd let him stay with the team the entire trip and then send him down.

* Wings are struggling right now. They need all their best players, and they need to have competition for spots and to be able to have some choice in who plays any given night. If the Wings had 5 straight wins I'm pretty sure Abdelkader would be sent down.

Talk about a jumbled, twisted up conversation....I don't even know what we're talking about anymore. :P

Of course the Wings have a better chance of winning with Mule in the lineup and when ZDH doesn't light the lamp. My post was in regards to the Wings being able to win at this juncture without Mule in the lineup and if/when ZDH doesn't factor in the scoring on any given night. We were talking two different things....just a case of misunderstanding.

Cheers

Guest Lidstromboli

high quality streams always skip and stutter for me, but the lesser ones usually run pretty smooth

I give up, too. ((hugs)) Mac.

See you tonight, if I can get away from here and home for the game. Go, Wings!!!

Probably not, as I haven't been in the GDT the past few games. I'm going to start frequenting them more often but my brother is coming over for the game tonight.

The game that puts us over .500

Wings 4 Oilers 2

uh, hate to burst your bubble, but the Wings are currently two games under .500. At 4-4-2 we need two wins to have won half our games. A win tonight puts them at .454 win percentage.

Why does everyone just drop the OTLs from their calculations? .500 means you've won half your games, and the Wings have certainly not done that, even with a win tonight.

I have Comcast, and it's going to be on FSN HD.

But is it going to be "HD"? Away games normally have the sidebar that says "FSD" or something with a standard def picture in the middle.

According to NHL.com it will simply be on FSN, but I have it on FSN HD. I guess it depends on your tv provider.

Im guessing that means the FSN HD channel will be broadcasting low def tonight...

I have Comcast as well but just figured that it will unfortunately be broadcast in standard def. If one sport was made for HD, it's hockey.
