So, I just got off of work and literally just turned the tv on to catch the puck drop for the 3rd. How has the team, and Howie especially, looked?

Howard, Bert, Pav, and Helm looking good. May went with Barch and got rid of him for a while whilst he cleaned up a bloody hand.

We need another goal now. Come on, boys!

EDIT: Howard has made some great saves. That last goal wasn't too pretty.

I don't think Howard has been that bad. None of the goals were overly soft. He was bound to have a game where he got some bad puck luck eventually, all goalies do.

I can't complain too much since he's played so well lately, but he picked a bad time to have an off game. The second Skratins goal wasn't good at all and even though the second Neal goal was weird, he played it poorly after he lost sight of the puck, just drifting further out of the net instead of retreating back into the blue to cover as much as possible while he tries to reacquire it.

No, he hasn't. He's not getting the bounces today and it's exploiting some of his weaknesses with his positioning. I think it's probably a blessing in disguise down the stretch as he's been playing well for the most part lately, but he's also had luck on his side quite a bit as well. Hopefully with games like this it'll keep him motivated to eliminate the need for luck by putting in simple hard work. He's got a lot going for him and even if he ends up having a rough stretch here, he's got a lot to be proud of so far this season. He's just got to keep working hard and he's going to be a good goalie. Again, let us not forget...

ROOKIE!!!!!!!!
