The next 30 days it will be wonderful to be a Wings fan.

Let's hope all every Wings fan asked for this Christmas was a healthy team and to rebound from the AHL-level hockey that we've been seeing recently.

That said, getting guys back is going to have a huge effect on how they play, regardless of whether Fil, Franzen, Z, Kronwall, etc are 100% when they get back. I honestly can't wait to see this team healthy.

Good to get Fil back. What do you think the lines will be?

Bert-Pav-Homer

Leino-Fil-Eaves

Draper-Helm-Miller

Maltby-Ab-May

Maybe something like that? Anyways, wings will take away 2 points from this one. I think this is the game Leino breaks out of his slump and scores, with Filppula assisting of course! Hopefully, cause he needs it. I'm also feeling a PP goal from Homer.

I actually like 'em!

Flip!! Welcome back man! :D

His return gives us so much more flexibility, we badly needed another strong centre after Hank went down.

Flip's injury was the moment I realized this season was cursed. Such a freak injury. Maybe him coming back will be the end of the curse.

We badly need a win here.. you can't lose 4 straight in the Western Conference without being in close proximity to last place.

Only thing I wonder about with guys coming back from injury is how long it takes them to get back into game shape- I'm not trying to be debbie downer here, but Flip hasn't played in a while but at least he could still skate. Some of these other guys it might take a while, and it might not be all bad (not Flip tho) to send them to GR for 'conditioning' purposes.

No prediction, it's bad luck from me apparently.

Both Hossa and Markov had great games coming back from lengthy time off. He should do alright I think. May not get 2 goals like those two did, but I expect him to be into the game playing hard and getting some chances.

Ain't it da trooth!! :colorbounce: Talk about your long-term Christmas presents! I'm thinking even the chemistry problems will be overcome by the fact that all the guys will be playing with renewed chutzpah and little-boy-type enthusiasm.

GO, WINGS!!! GO, WHOEVER'S IN NET!!!!

:w00t2:

And HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!!!!
