I'm not sure I understand the question. I posted pics that symbolise the Red Wings - diving *******, frequent Stanley Cup Champs. I don't know where you were going with yours.

I thought it was pretty clear.

Though you are out of your mind to think the one picture to represent the Wings as a whole is one that represents "diving *******". Very few in the league really give a damn considering the fact that Detroit is the most successful modern franchise in the NHL.

In fact I don't see how it is relevant. Oh, right because the whole enforcer and Franzen being a diver thing. Riggghtt.

My point was that the "pussification" of this franchise is almost irrelevant. And you seem to be so into such an irrelevant point I just feel the need to respond. Of course this can be considered admittance to trolling which is against the rules here. So next time you bring up this "fact" I'll be sure to keep that in mind.

Several teams have pics that when you see them you automatically think of that team. Boston has Bobby Orr and The Goal, what should other teams have? For example, should Detroit have Stevie raising his 1st Cup, Lindsay and the shotgun, Vladdy in the wheelchair, the Russian 5 all skating to the net at once? Should Colorado have Ray Bourque lifting the cup or Lemieux executing the turtle? What picture comes to mind when you think of a specific team? This could be fun.

The example you gave was the Bobby Orr goal and to be honest, when I see that picture, I think of Bobby Orr, not necessarily the Bruins (maybe it's different for a Bruins fan).

Based on everything people are posting here, I just see these as fun pictures or pictures from various cup wins, etc. Nice memories, but not entiring sure if that is what you are looking for......then again, as I suggest, not exactly sure what you mean.

I can't speak for the OP, but I understood the question to mean, "What pic makes you think of the Wings?" or, conversely, "When you think of the Wings, what pic comes to mind?"

Sorry if I misunderstood, but that's what I was going with.

A) Irrelevant to what exactly, their succes? I know - you can tell that I know because I said as much. Their pussification is very much relevant to their pussification though.
