Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 This could be the best game of the season, or the worst. I certainly hope the boys come out and spank the Sharks and jump back into the playoffs.

GSBrooks13 204 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 This could be the best game of the season, or the worst. I certainly hope the boys come out and spank the Sharks and jump back into the playoffs. I Had that feeling as well. Really gotta hope we see a full 60 minutes of classic Red Wings hockey in this one.. A big win over the Sharks could be a huge confidence booster for the team heading down the stretch. My Prediction: Red Wings 3 - Lidstrom, Draper, Bertuzzi Sharks 1 - Heatley LETS GO WINGS! Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 If we win and Nashville loses (they're versing Phoenix, so win-win either way for us, provided no OT) we jump to 7th place.
crabcakes'n'redwings 4 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 We had a great west coast trip last months boys, lets have a repeat... and wow...only 2 out hurt which is great, but that also means no more excuses...the W's and the Points NEED to start coming quickly
HockeyTownHouligan 57 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 I don't really think the sharks are gonna try in this one and the wings will hand them their asses as they have all season with the sharks. Wings win 4-2.
clutchngrab 12 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 (edited) This one scares me. Wings had one of the best games of the season against them the last time out and I suspect the Sharks will be ready this time - especially since they might smell a first round match-up and want to make a statement. Sharks are hot and the wings are giving up tons of shots. Jimmy will be huge, but if the D doesn't tighten up its a blow-out. I'm gonna be optimistic though and say 3-2 wings. Helm, Dats and Bert for the Wings. Edited February 2, 2010 by clutchngrab
FunkedUp 29 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 Calgary is doing us big time favors, we need a W. We've played the Sharks well this season, but I think they will be more difficult this time. This could be a potential playoff match-up. Wings though take this one 4-2 (Pav x2, Lidstrom, Z with an empty)
kylee 727 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 i have a feeling im either going to be very happy with this game outcome or very saddened. great to see our roster looking more and more like it ought to. lets grab a W and jump over the flames in the standings. dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 Calgary is doing us big time favors, we need a W. Yep, we haven't been able to capitalize on their bad play as of yet, but we really need to. Soon they could start winning again, or teams could catch up from behind. LA, Phoenix, Vancouver etc. are all winning games.. we have to do like Ottawa or Washington and win 9-10 straight games if we're going to catch up to any of them. 6-1 Wings. Datsyuk and Hank with 3 each.
Guest mindfly Report post Posted February 2, 2010 (edited) Going way east to west and vice versa is always equal to a brutal game with no speed by the wings.. dont get your hopes up for this one... Won't be able to watch this one live, duh starts at 4:30am, but will watch later next morning. Edited February 2, 2010 by mindfly
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 Someone needs to tell the Wings that a win could put them into 7th. The way they've played lately is as if they've given up on the playoffs.
