I think its safe to say that I love those third line grinders, that can chip in, fight and PK. Probably the biggest role in hockey if you ask me.

Oh and Rosehill is awesome, I watch a tonne of Leafs games and this guy is tough as nails but can actually skate out there. He's so much faster then Orr and he gets so many big hits.

Atlanta: Kane - tons of potential

Boston: Lucic- can do it all and would bring toughness

Buffalo: Vanek - a sniper we don't have

Calgary: Bouwmeester - tough year this year but he's too good not to rebound, wish we could have signed him last year

Carolina: Jokinen - to help us in shootouts

Chicago: Toews or Keith - too tough to pick, both some of the best franchise building blocks in the game

Colorado: Duchene - type of player who will be able to play with anybody once fully developed

Columbus: Commodore- i'm not all that high on him but i don't really want anyone on their team lol

Dallas: Modano - i know he's washed up for the most part but he's a Michigan boy and a high character guy

Edmonton: Gagner - huge potential, one of my favorite NHL players

Florida: Horton- underrated because of where he plays

LA: Kopitar/Johnson/Doughty: Kopitar can flat out score, Johnson and Kopitar would bring a boatload of talent to the blue line

Minnesota: Latendresse - one of the hottest NHL players the last month or so

Montreal: Cammalleri- sniper (pre-injury of course)

Nashville: Weber- love his shot

New Jersey: Parise- offensive talent we could use

Islanders: Tavares- gonna be putting a lot of pucks in the net for a long time

NYR: Gaborik- finally staying healthy enough to show how good he can be

Ottawa: Spezza/Fisher - i think Spezza would be a great fit, Fisher so i could see Carrie Underwood at the games

Philly: Gagne- dependable goal scorer

Phoenix: Jovanovski- big dependable guy to stick on the blue line

Pittsburgh- Crosby- Best player in the NHL I.M.O.

San Jose- Boyle - would bring more stability to the blue line

St. Louis- Crombeen- love those fighters

Tampa- Lecavalier- always thought he was a bit underappreciated

Toronto- Ponikarovsky- nice fit as a 2nd level scorer

Vancouver- Sammy/Bieksa- Wings could have benefitted greatly from Sammy this year...Bieksa is a high character defenseman who'll do anything to win...this guy will have a "C' on his chest before his career is over

Washington- Knuble- the only guy on the Caps i can stand

Anaheim: Artyukhin (big body, plays with an edge, decent skill set)

Atlanta: Kozlov (I was bummed when we had to deal him, would love it if he could retire as a Wing)

Boston: Lucic (I know he's a bit of a prick, but he's a dangerous scorer and is a physical force that we need desparately)

Buffalo: Vanek/Miller (imagine Vanek playing on the wing with Datsyuk, and what team wouldn't want a goalie like Miller)

Calgary: Giordano (he's very underrated)

Carolina: J. Jokinen (shootout specialist, but he's not one-dimensional)

Chicago: Campbell (j/k, don't really want any of them, although I'd wouldn't mind Hjalmarsson)

Colorado: Wolski (just something about his style that I admire, even though he usually kills us head-to-head)

Columbus: Nash (OK, I admit it, I don't really know anyone else on that team)

Dallas: Neal (kid is a beast)

Edmonton: Smid (big physical young defenseman with lots of upside, seems a waste for him to rot in Edmonton)

Florida: Horton (toss up between him and Booth)

LA: Kopitar (again, who wouldn't based on his on-ice performance, don't know how he is in the locker room)

Minnesota: Boogaard/Scott (both 6'8" 258, so it depends whether you want a huge beast on the 4th line or the 3rd D pair)

Anaheim: Getzlaf. I think he's one of the most underrated players in the world.

Atlanta: Kovalchuk. Guaranteed 40 goals a year. That's rare.

Boston: Chara.

Buffalo: Tyler Myers. I'd say Miller but I think we're set in net.

Calgary: Iginla. I don't agree with his goonish attitude but I think Detroit would turn him into an even better all around player.

Carolina: Jokinen.

Chicago: Duncan Keith. We don't need Kane's idiot attitude, although Toews was close to being my pick.

Colorado: O'Reilly. Right handed shot, going to be a great player someday.

Columbus: Rick Nash.

Dallas: Loui Erikson. Richards is good too but I think Erikson would fit in great here.

Detroit: A Nick Lidstrom who never ages.

Edmonton: Earl Campbell. Wait...wrong Oilers. Can I say nothing? Well, if not, then Penner.

Los Angeles: Doughty/Kopitar. Too hard to choose.

Montreal: Halak. I know I didn't pick Miller because we had goaltending but Halak would be cheaper and would be a fantastic 1b.
