That's it, I'm officially sick of Ericsson. He needs more than one game watching from the pressbox obviously. That goal is absolutely unacceptable from the other team's 4th line at that point in the game. Jesus Christ that's enfuriating. They got absolutely dominated for that entire period and that's how we close it out.

They need to re-insert Janik into the lineup.

What the hell is wrong with Babcock? How does he still have a hard on for that Ericsson-Stuart pairing? "Well they're two big bodies." Yeah, well, when have we ever seen those two work together where they didn't look like deer in the headlights.

Stuart, Ericsson, even Howard looked bad on that 2nd goal...

The 1st line is rocking though... the third line is good for the most part but maltby is nowhere near 3rd line class

I know we are down 2-1 but I tell ya if we finish 7th or 8th and get the Sharks, bring them on, we seem to match up good against them. Man is our d zone coverage soft, we need some good postional d men on this team, my patience is wearing thin with guys like Ericcson and Raf

I'm still confused on the Holmstrom penalty. How does he get a penalty when guys hack, whack, cross check him constantly when he's standing there, and rarely ever gets the call? Then he shoves a guy and gets called. Unbelievable.

Frustrating period as usual this year. Nice offensive chances though, if we don't win this one, at least they can hold their heads high and no they should of.

Kinda getting worried though, time is running out

His name is Dan O'Halloran. Do what you will with that information.

Ericsson is running out of excuses from me. He's making some brutal mistakes. Come on Big Rig, you are better than this.

For like 5-10 seconds before that goal I saw Ericsson stumbling around looking completely lost and I got a bad feeling. Then they scored.

It's like he completely forgot what defense is. Picking up the open guy is an unknown concept to him.

Shame we gave that up because it was a good period otherwise. It would be unfortunate if we would lose when we finally play good.

what the hell did you want jimmy to do on the 2nd goal. he was left out to dry. ill forgive jimmy on the first goal. it was a bad goal but rookie mistake. hell learn.

DEFENSE! DEFENSE!

Nobody is blaming Howard for the 2nd goal. It was 100 percent on Ericsson for not covering his man. Howard had no chance.

i can't see why homer got an interference penalty for giving a shove when the goalie was shoving him from behind and then when he went for the puck on the icing, he was interfered with and no call given. wtf? oh, plus the franzen one and the stick to dats in front of the net by nichol. wings look soooo good though. unfortunately, we lose games we look good in. hopefully the mule will change that. i think we will have to change his name to spark plug or something.

Good news we is we out played them. Bad news is were losing. Oh and the refs suck balls. Datsyuk got a headbutt but apparently that's allowed.

Zetterberg got a stick between the legs by Thornton and I suppose that's alright as well.

If the league wants injuries cut down, that kind of crap needs to stop. Throwing elbows, sticks, knees around should be met with a severe penalty. I'm sick of seeing that crap on the ice from ANY team.

Maybe the enforcer mentality needs to come back. YOu have the enforcer for situations like that, where there's a purpose for someone going to beat the s*** out of a player. That day is dead it seems. Is May really an enforcer, or just someone that is willing to fight? I don't really think it's as interesting and means much when 2 tough guys decide they're gonna square off. For what reason? No, I want to see the enforcer go after a player that takes liberties with someone in a dirty way (not a clean way).
