Its not all bad. The Wings didn't show up last night, because they thought it would take no effort. They definitely will tonight, looking for vengeance, and because they are a top team in the league. They also are tied for a playoff spot.

if this was the correct logic then we shouldn't have won any game this season. I thought the Wings carried play for the most of the game, it's just their lazy start cost them the whole game.

I seriously doubt, though, that they were thinking, 'it's only the worste team in the NHL right now, we don't need to take them seriously.' If I thought they were thinking that, there's no way I would be able to root for them. They're professionals give them more credit than that.
