Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Ladies, gentlemen-- I present to you Luongo's worst game ever. Amazing. I wonder how he'll bounce back next game. This has to be their coach's way of putting the coals to his feet.

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Only because Sammy wasn't playing. If Sammy would have been there, he would have been shooting so much at the Kings' net that they wouldn't have gotten a shot on Looooooooooooo.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Well, apparently, Vigneault has a "plan", according to what he said on TSN. He wanted to keep Raycroft rested for next game...apparently at the risk of completely embarrassing his star goaltender.
Wings_Dynasty 267 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Wait, so he didn't throw a fit and declare he was never playing for the Canucks again? He has the power to. Only French-Canadians quit that epically.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Poor Bobba-luuu... it happens to the best, on occasion. Bet it was fun to watch, anyway. Reminds me of the 7-0 shellacking the Wings laid on Patty Wahhh once upon a time.

haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 The game was on NHL Network last night, he played really bad. I could not believe he wasn't pulled. I was surprised too. Granted, he didn't get a lot of help from his teammates, but those 8 goals were not some sort of fluke. He was plain bad. And Vigneault apparently was happy to make him lie in the bed he crapped in. AtomicPunk 296 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 The best part about the Wings 7-0 game on Roy is that it was a GAME 7. So much for him being the best "money" goalie of all time. 1 Namingway reacted to this
Hockeytown_Ryan 122 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Ya know it's games like this that make me wonder, With all the other teams playing like this ..our chances in the post season are pretty decent.

Do not know about that, these teams could flip a switch like some have in the past; i.e. Osgood in the playoffs.
RedWingsRox 614 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) It's Armageddon, end of the world in local fan base here in Vancouver. But this wasn't his worst game, that would be with Chicago in game 6 last year ... nice to know that nothing has changed for Canucks this year and Luongo can still potentially have a melt down like that Edited April 2, 2010 by RedWingsRox
Doc Holliday 1,888 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Ever since the Olympics he has been relatively terrible. Vancouver really needs to get him back on his game before the playoffs, because if not I don't think they are deep enough to make up for his play in net. soultrain 43 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 i kept watching the look on his face after goals 5 6 7 and 8 to see if he was gonna pull a wa-wa-roy move, but he just looked totally rattled. canucks can be such a bunch of softies on some nights

Zetts 236 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 The Canucks are seeming like they might become the new Sharks. Their best hope to win is if Samuelsson comes back and hasn't lost the form he had when he got injured.
wingsdiehard13 33 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Before everyone flames the Canucks for playing bad, you should know that both Sammy and Daniel Sedin did not play with injuries.
