Wings win 4-2. Helm shoots at our blue line, hits the side board at the other blue line and ricochets in for an EN goal.

Whats the deal with Abdelkader? I see hes not in the line-up and not listed on the injury list.

This has to be the longest summer I can remember. So pumped to watch some real Red Wings hockey again.

Only prediction for this game is that Big E tries to make everyone like hime atleast momentarily and destroys Fairy.

LETS GO WINGS!

We should really win this game quite easily.

Their D looks horrible.

4-1 Wings.

I don't know. We've been saying that the past couple of years only to be surprised and angry.

Duck The F...oops! ;)

Just want to see a good, solid win by at least two goals. Gotta start this season on a good note, so Wings 4-2 (though I won't object to running up the score :P).

So glad this season is starting. Cant wait to hear that magical goal horn at The Joe. LET IT BEGIIIIIIIIIN

--Abby is out with rib injury/soreness. He can skate and everything but Babs said with Abby's style of play, he's gonna sit this one out to be safe.

WINGS WIN 4-1.

Pavs and Z - 1g 1a each

Looking at they're lineup, I'm thinking this should be a steam roll. It's amazing how fast Anaheim's depth and overall talent have disintegrated. That D is barely a shadow of a couple years ago. They're bottom two lines are pretty bad. That said though, Hiller can keep them in games.

Drop the puck!

I'm thinking the Wings will be pumped to show they're a force to be reckoned with this season.

5-1.

Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Franzen, Lidstrom, Hudler.
