Woooh! I'm going to this game! Was kind of hoping Osgood would play so I could see him reach his milestone, but I've got a good feeling about this one. Since I moved away from London, Ontario I get to see one game a year when I come home for Christmas. We've seen them smoke the Hawks 2 years ago, last year they lost to the Hawks, so this year it's the Wings' turn for a win!

Ok... The We are 4-4-2 this month so far. We have 6 games left, 2 at home and 4 on the road. Vancouver tonight, @St.Louis Tomorrow, @Minnesota (sunday) @Colorado (Monday) @Dallas (Wednesday) Islanders (New Years Eve).

This is a pretty tough stretch of games. The Wings are coming home tomorrow after the game in St Louis and then heading out at 6am on Sunday to play in Minnesota, then fly to Denver after that game. I am hoping for a 3-3-0 finish to this month, making it 7-7-2 with 16 points in December. Thats basically 1 point per game this month, which I do not think is too bad considering the schedule this month!

Wings have won every game this season that I have attended (4-0). I have been looking for a well priced pair of tickets for this one for a few days. Should I continue my search or have I jynxed it? Time will tell.

I am also going tonight and they have only lost twice in the 20+ games I have seen them play live (once was in 1996) so lets hope we can have a strong game. Zetty needs to have a strong game tonight, as does Jimmy. If Hudler is playing on the 2nd line, this could be his last chance to make an impact...I mean, how many chances can you give little Happy without pulling the cord. Should be a great game!

this could be ugly. hopefully it'll be like the wings were last year when they had the injuries. they'd beat the teams we expected them to lose to, and lost to teams like the islanders :hehe:

Hope they win, but im not betting on it :(

Statistically in points, Canucks are exactly the same as the Wings. The similarities are uncanny.

Canucks have a considerable edge in PP, PK and face-offs.

Wings are second in the West in winning percentage (.688) by virtue of one more win than the Canucks who are in third at .677. First place Dallas is fifth at .622 with 3 more games played than the Wings and 4 more than the Canucks.

Just show up and make it interesting. They can win if Jimmy doesn't let any softies in and our Defense decides to show up and we decide to shoot the puck and not take stupid penalties.

Basically we can win if we STOP doing the s*** we have been doing.

LGW

Guest Hatethedrake!

If the real Wings show up then WIngs 4, Canucks 3.

If the fake Wings show up then Canucks 5, Wings 2.

If they are the wings' of old they will show up for this huge games against the best team and come out with an impressive win, that would get my hopes up for sure, the bad stretch they had lately would be forgotten to be honest, but if they suck in this one and lose, in a bad way, i will lose alot of faith in this team, they got no reason to suck tonight (only modano is injured, they had a day off on monday and practice on tuesday) no excuses for tired legs, tough schedule etc etc.

The Wings are the best team in the conference.

The Wings are the best team in the conference.

The Wings were the best team in the Conference in October and November. But at 4-4-2 as a last ten....

Vancouver has been the best team in the conference for December. 8-1-1 (Last ten)

So, according to Murph, only a couple of the Canucks shots were real testes for Howard. :scared::lol:

Pavel's not on the bench to start the 2nd. *worry*
