They play 6 on 5 or get time to suit one of the players up in goalie pads.

That was actually the answer I was looking for.

I was wondering which player they would choose. Last year we had Lilja with his shot-blocking skills that I always thought would do a good job in goal in a pinch.

Stuie blocks well, but he's out.

Who do we have left that we could put in goal?

What's up with the fans wearing referee uniforms? They are at all the Blue Jacket games

They haven't exactly had a whole lot else to cheer for in franchise history...

Homer. Just have him turn around and use his ass.

Great shift by the Miller-Abdelkader-Mursak line, now if we could get the other three lines to play like that.

The best shift of the entire period, and it came via the 4th line.

They should be rewarded with more time after that effort.

And I've got this strong feeling Kindl will tally his first NHL point tonight.

Good point, we are down 2 shot blocking defensemen.

If J is out for any length of time, expect this team to make a move.

Just stopping by... So what happened? Jimmy stunk again and then got hurt?

First goal was a flukey one where it was banked off the post, the second one was when the puck hit his wrist on his catching hand, bounced up, over, and into the net. Then he has a bruised knee after making a save. He won't be back for the game.

I don't actually think he was dipping. He always talks like that, even on the ice during on ice interviews. He tries to hide his toothy grin.

Yeah I'm never 100% sure with him, but it looked like there was a little bulge in his lower left lip.

they said it was a knee bruise, so thats not too serious is it? i mean, if he goes out for a month or 2, its over. these injuries are brutal, but if we are healthy going into the playoffs, i think we'll be fine. but in order to survive we need Howard.

so, is it too soon to be relieved its not a serious injury?

?
