What a shock!!! A white, cis gendered, conservative "man" dictating other people's sexuality to them. Color me surprised.

I have no real moral or political values. I try to keep it fair and unbiased.

If nazis wanna exterminate the black race, then thats none of my business. And likewise, if a troon wants to come on to our website, then its my job to harass them until they leave. Either way, I keep it fair for everyone.

What an iconoclastic post. You're so edgy.

I want a team of dogs like this that want the cup very very badly

What were the injuries to Bergeron in 2011?
Bergeron suffered torn rib cartilage in Game 4 of the finals, a broken rib on his left side in Game 5 and a separated right shoulder and a punctured left lung in Game 6. The puncture eventually caused the lung to collapse, and Bergeron ended up in the hospital following Game 6, spending three days there.Jul 2, 2013

I hadn't heard that. Did I offend you?

Yes. Now I must make up my own words and reject biology while I hide in my safe space vacuum chamber where no one with a lighter skin tone is allowed to be. Only then can I cry about how everyone else has more privilege than me.

Hey! Ok, ok! Let's get this back on track...

Quote

Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks recently lost Ilya Lyubushkin and Jamie Drysdale via trades and need a right-handed d-man for this season and beyond. Perhaps a quiet media market like Anaheim could do wonders for Holl's career as he continues to be the scape goat in Toronto even though he's not even suiting up for the Leafs anymore. Pat Verbeek and Yzerman have quite the relationship so perhaps the two can work out something.

Package Holl to get Vatrano.

Holl (half retained) + Fabbri (half retained)

That makes good sense for both gms.

The only thing I am looking at is upsetting the chemistry by taking away. Adding scoring shouldn't do that, but taking away Fabbri just might upset the team a little. I am all for trading Fabbri in the offseason to make room for Berggren (If he doesn't get traded) through. Also, looking at the UFA D-men for the summer, Ghost is the leading scorer, but has a dismal +/-. at -15 If we don't make a trade for a D-man, Gustav Forsling is a UFA, 28 years old, only 8 points behind Ghost and is a +43! I'd like to see a serious offer to him! instead of getting into Hanifin, Chychrun or Gudas. Trade Holl for sure this TDL, Then sign Forsling and promote Edvinsson, moving Petry or Maatta to 7th D.

By all means though, trade Holl by Friday in a package for a middle 6 forward. That contract is going to be in the way come next season.

Friedman says in his 32 thoughts that league revenue projections are very high right now. Which is why we are going to see the cap aggressively grow this year and into the near future. And he adds that this is going to widen the competitive advantage that USA based states without income have over other teams.

According to capfriendly, teams like Florida, Tampa, Dallas, and Seattle can pay an $8 mil cap hit with take home being $4.75. Whereas take home pay in Canada and California is more like $3.75 for the same contract.  All players Canadian based or American are paid in USD. That's not a small amount of money in difference.... and If Freidman is correct it's going to get worse fast.

what do?

I’m paraphrasing here but I read an interview with Alan Walsh, a big time player agent. He said this Canada vs. US debate is blown out of proportion because any agent worth a damn hooks his clients up with accountants than can more or less manage the money such that the tax burden ends up being negligible. Take it for what it’s worth.

Here it is.

I mean I'm aware that tax loopholes exist, but saving 1 million a year just via a good accountant? And if a Montreal accountant can make my 3.75 turn into 4.75, why can't my Tampa accountant turn my 4.75 into 5.75?

I think more likely it ends up evening out because most US states without income tax tend to have higher property tax. IDK about Canada, but I suspect they are the most fuqqede by this. God bless America.
