wingnut40 176 Report post Posted December 31, 2011 Kinda funny. Nick's a better actor than Draper and Ozzie that's for sure. Too bad he was paired with Perry. Link 1 55fan reacted to this
Jenny 315 Report post Posted December 31, 2011 The look on Perry's face when he says "Really?" at the end is great! But I just can't picture Nick and Perry going anywhere in the same vehicle.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted December 31, 2011 That's actually quite funny. Someone didn't boil the octopus judging by the slime. Also, who is Joe?
Miss Wing Queen 154 Report post Posted December 31, 2011 Nothing against Nick, but it would have been great to have Pavel in this commercial.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted December 31, 2011 I'm just glad it's Perry driving the car that wasn't made in Detroit.
WingZNut13 99 Report post Posted December 31, 2011 This was great. Got a solid laugh out of it. Only thing, they didn't boil the octopus......noobs. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this
Dimaline312000 51 Report post Posted December 31, 2011 Glad to see they picked Liddy to play in the Commercial. Personally I would've picked and easter and and western conf players but it was still a funny commercial. Way to go Captain Hollywood!!
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted December 31, 2011 They picked Nick because everyone else hates Perry and wouldn't get in the car with him. Nick is Perfect and untouchable, so he volunteered. Nick is also legitimately an All Star, Perry is not. BTW, rocks are better actors than Ozzie and Drapes. Nick did OK. 3 Jasper84, Hockeymom1960 and 55fan reacted to this
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted December 31, 2011 They probably looked at the awards for last season. Like him or not, Perry was a winner.

Reds4Life 51 Report post Posted January 1, 2012 Pretty cool ad. Even Perry wasn't that bad.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted January 1, 2012 Pretty cool ad. Even Perry wasn't that bad. If anyone ever questioned the greatness that is the Perfect Human, they can now be silenced by this: He makes Perry tolerable. 4 VM1138, Hockeymom1960, Peadydog and 1 other reacted to this
LeftWinger 5,130 Report post Posted January 1, 2012 Am I the only one who though that was a retarded commercial? Sure it's nice to see Lidstrom in a non-local commercial and Perry wasn't that douchey in it either. But the content is absolutely stupid. I have nothing against Honda, but they could have come up with a scenario WAY better than this. I get what they were trying to do, and yes it's nice to see a commercial that involves the NHL that doesn't have the poster child in it, but this fails on all attempts. The Jiri Fischer - Chris Pronger one was much better back in the day... regarding Osgood and Draper, Ozzie is much better than Drapes in that commercial, but neither would win an oscar 1 Travis reacted to this

Travis 576 Report post Posted January 1, 2012 They probably looked at the awards for last season. Like him or not, Perry was a winner. The Ducks also play at the Honda Center. It was an all right commercial over all. The only really humorous part was the 'Really?' at the end, though.

Forgive me, but my palm seems to be imbedded in my orbital bone. Honda Center. I knew that. Duh.
