rrasco 1,312 Report post Posted February 14, 2012 Seriously...Who the hell would care about Spurs-Pistons? This isn't 2005. Neither team is relevant. Maybe the Pistons are not. Spurs had the best record in the league last year, albeit followed by a disappointing playoff loss. They are currently 2nd in the west. On that note, LGRW! Here's to #21 and #12! Vladifan 680 Report post Posted February 14, 2012 You all remember those two home games the Wings lost to the Wild and Calgary in early November? I believe those were the last games the Wings lost at home. Well, we were there for both of them. Yep, came all the way from Texas to see 'em lose. What will you guys pay us to stay home for the rest of the season? Huh? :deal: Just kidding. Couldn't afford to extort anyways.... GO WINGS!! DUMP DALLAS!! 1 55fan reacted to this

Hockey13Playa 240 Report post Posted February 14, 2012 This is the last home game of the regular season that I will be pretty disappointed if we lose. The rest after this one are just bonus points. Let's set a new record tonight! I'm going to predict my first blowout of the season. 6-2 Wings. YOU DON'T SAY THAT! Heres hoping to make the streak "untouchable" and win as many f*ckin' home games in a row! (Also we get a boat load of points and sit pretty atop the West)!!! GO WINGS!!! Matt 1,048 Report post Posted February 14, 2012 Guys, just so you know: Tonight's game WILL be on 97.1FM. The Pistons swapped with the Wings for the night because of the record. (Heard this on the drive home from the office last night while listening to 97.1.) 1 Chelios57 reacted to this

Barrie 900 Report post Posted February 14, 2012 sympatico.ca has a poll on their website that asks if I'll be doing something special for Valentines Day. The possible answers are "Yes, absolutely!", "Yes, but only something small", "I'm not sure yet", and "No, it's not my thing". I voted "Yes, absolutely!" because I'll be watching the Red Wings go for their 21st Straight Home Win tonight online.

Good thing is they reimbursed me for the cost of them, bad thing is they aren't reissuable due to the seller giving me the hard copies of the ticket or something like that. Chelios57 31 Report post Posted February 14, 2012 Seriously...Who the hell would care about Spurs-Pistons? This isn't 2005. Neither team is relevant. Yeah what the hell is the deal with that?!?!? My guess is that it has something to do with the Pistons having a contract for a certain amount of games to be on, and they have to make up for them because of the NBA lockout. I don't know, all I know is that I hate that. Guys, just so you know: Tonight's game WILL be on 97.1FM. The Pistons swapped with the Wings for the night because of the record. (Heard this on the drive home from the office last night while listening to 97.1.) Thank God! I can't stand the Pistons getting priority, it just doesn't make ANY sense. The Pistons have never-ever been more irrelevant. What are they drawing 6,000 people (seriously) a game?

GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted February 14, 2012 Not gonna lie, usually by now I'm pretty bored with the regular season and itching for the playoffs to start. This home winning streak has created all kinds of excitement though. I'm guessing the buzz at JLA will be pretty special tonight. I know the players have downplayed it (as expected), but this opportunity is incredibly special. I don't care about the different eras or shootouts -- winning 21 consecutive games anywhere is remarkable. The Red Wings generally get everybody's best game too, so to come away with this new record would be quite an accomplishment. Truly an amazing organization we are blessed to be fans of. Let's Go Red Wings! Make it 21! :octo:
