That guy is probably just talking out of his ass, but I can see the Wings being interested in Kubina. He's huge, he's experienced, and he's a right-handed shot which would help the second PP unit.
In a 2005 study published by the journal Nature, researchers at Durham University in England concluded that, across a range of sports, we found that wearing red is consistently associated with a higher probability of winning. The researchers also suggested that red's effect may subconsciously intimidate opponents in athletic contests, especially when the athletes are equal in skill and strength.

No wany in hell should the Wings give Kindl up for Kubina. That would be a horrrible trade. Hollands smarter than that (I hope).

Yeah, Kindl is improving rapidly and Kubina is pretty much done. I wouldn't make that trade unless they are getting back at least a second round pick as well.

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

Please god no. Kubina is awful, watch any games when he was with Toronto. He's a less physical, and more dumb Ericsson with higher end offensive skills. No, no, no, adding Kubina would be such a mistake. He's not tough to play against, at all, c'mon Stevie drive up that price and make Kenny hang up the phone.

They are saying Kubina won't play until he's traded, not sure if that's his decision or that of the Lightning, but if it's indeed his decision that's an attitude i'm not interested in.

I wonder how many LGWers would have said this about Larry Murphy when he was getting booed out of the rink in Toronto back in 97 before coming to Detroit at the deadline for a laugh and doubling his cup total during the following two playoff runs?

I'll take Kubina if he brings along Malone or Downy.

Kubina and Downey for Kindl, Emmerton, and a 4th rd pick

Kindl will be Kyle Quincey part 2 if he's traded. Ridiculous.

Welcome to the playoffs....where the games get better and the officiating gets worse.

Holland is not that stupid. No chance he gives up kindl who they believe will fill in number 5's shoes eventually when he retires. This twitter story is a huge reach.

@DarrenDreger: Kubina watch continues. Hearing offers from both Det and Philly have been made.
