Everything points in our favor here when it comes to x-factor's...sure they will be the favs, but we all know all too much, how quickly a giant falls down when overconfident. Good news is, ya we went 0-4 this year against them, BUT two games were SO loses and one was OT. VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted May 13, 2013 Felt like winning the Cup. It's getting hard to get down on this team. January seems so long ago, a different team entirely. That was an almost textbook perfect game. Their structured support neutralized almost every chance the Ducks had. I'm nervous about the Hawks, but if we can edge out Anaheim, why not them? I just hope the players don't deflate by celebrating this too much. If we play Tuesday, I think we can steal the win. I like that we've got so many young guys as I think it's our wildcard that could come up big, and thus far, they've been real solid. This was a real fun series to watch, though at times painful and agonizing, but in the end, a lot of fun. I wasn't sure we'd win the series at the start, but I had a feeling we'd take game 7 once we got to it, because these guys are just really working hard out there. I'm scared of Blackhawks...but at least Datsyuk will have descent ice to work with. And hey, remember when we beat the Avs 7-0 near the end of the regular season and then they beat us in the playoffs? Maybe we'll reverse it! I'm scared of the Blackhawks. But you never know...
