Tats was in last the gdts projected lineup, I haven't seen anything saying if he'd be in or not.

Thoughts.

1. Destroy

2. I like the 'canes. If I weren't a Wings fan, I might be a 'canes fan

3. I really don't like their new jerseys, relative to their old ones, which I loved. So I guess I wouldn't be a 'canes fan. Because jerseys count for a lot in my book

4. Like last game, there's absolutely no reason why we shouldn't win, and by a wide margin. If we lose, we absolutely suck, and - bright spot? - Tatar steps in for Game #3 (and beyond?)

5. ...Unless Tatar's actually playing tonight...?

6. The second line comes alive tonight. Maybe

7. LETS GO RED WINGS

I think Babs said yesterday that he wanted to get him in this game or the next.

Probably no Tatar:

Helene St. James ‏@HeleneStJames 1m

Based on Red Wings morning skate here at PNC Arena, lines & D pairings staying the same.

There's two angles on that one. In theory, I agree being that Boston is a superior team to Carolina that you would want Howard in goal tomorrow instead. However, I think a lot of coaches view back-to-back as try to win the first game with fresh legs and then somehow steal a point or two in the second game.

I think both opinions have merit. Mrazek seems pretty unflappable, so I don't see the opponent bothering him all that much.

I feel like Elias Lindholm is a future Red Wing. There's something...inevitable about it. IMHO.

Also: no Tatar tonight. It's as official as it can be without really being official.

After seeing Carolinas line-up tonight, I'll be disappointed if we don't come away with 2 points. With Boston tomorrow need a hard effort tonight to stay ahead of the 8 ball.

She speculates, which journalists shouldn't do.  They should stick to the facts, but I fully understand what you meant.

I'd like bertuzzi on the top line he had a good touch around the net that abdelkader never has had. Hard to believe you put abdelkader on any line and it brings their offensive capabilities down yet he is playing on the first line with datsyuks and zetterberg essentially using them as a grind line

Thank God for Gamecenter.
