They better win or may as well call it a season...

If they lose another game to Florida I'm going to start throwing things.

Wow Dats is really back. We are starting to look like an actual hockey team. Really glad to see Jurco, Sheahan, and Glendening still up; they have earned it IMO. 5-2 Wings, they finally beat the subspecies of cougar found in Florida.

lol I love your classification accuracy.

Tongue and cheek due to frustration on being able to put together awesome effort with high end teams yet show up to a knife fight with a nerf football against lesser skilled teams

I'm with you, my family keeps telling me I've become an unpleasant person to watch games with.

I'm concerned the only reason he is playing is to see whether he is healthy enough to play in the Olympics, I hope he is healthy enough not to have a setback.

I'm concerned he isn't Healthy at all, and is only playing because of the Olympics.

"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

That's an awesome lineup! Should have been similar to that from day one...Too bad we had to go through about the worse streak we've seen in these parts since 1989 in order for Kenny to realize it!  Funny, watching 24/7 you could tell he was getting a bit annoyed with Babs constant use of crappy vets and refusing to use the youth we had...so glad that all changed!

I for one am blaming Cleary for Weiss's injury, he had to slow way down to stay with Cleary and as he was skating awkward, he tweaked that hernia! Ya, ya, that's the ticket!

I think with this lineup, Florida won't know what to do! Almost a triple threat with Z and Dats on separate lines and the speed and skill of the pink slips will wear Florida down. Heck, even Glenny's line is gonna cause some problems...could Andersson/Glenny/Miller be the new version of the Grind Line?  I think if Andy was replaced with Tootoo or Eaves it sure could!

Laugh it up, delete it all, I'll be laughing when it happens! -4/17/14

The Wings seem decided to spread the wealth to bottom feeders this season. For some it may seem good and modern, but shouldn't they keep some for themselves this time?

Wings take this one in regulation.

ps. for moderators: do i have to put quote: sarcasm-start/sarcasm-end?

It will be interesting to see helm on the wing. I think we're a much better team when we use our speed. Like the way we win against the hawks, bruins and other top tier teams were always playing with a lot of speed

Pretty solid looking lineup. Let's see if the forward lines can outscore the multitude of bad defensive plays the pairings have been turning in lately. They've been pretty brutal to watch.

Well hopefully our Wings fare better against Florida then the Leafs did the other night.

Got a good feeling about this one.  LGW!

This ^^  The game for me tonight isn't about the two points it's a pride game. I swear to God if they lose again to this team I might break myf****** TV.  I also hope Datsyuk is actually ready to play and isn't just coming back for the sake of the Olympics. Go Wings!

I get what you're saying.
But a well placed nerf football to the groin from eight feet away would slow a stab attempt down.
Or at least be able to catch a blade before it hit body.

Then again, for me.
It's nerf......

...
Or nothin.

Go to Grosse ille.
They supposedly have a black panther there.
And they have regular cougars, which are basically panthers, but i think it just might be referring older woman who like younger men.
Idk.
I have trouble with subtext sometimes.

Anyway.
Happy to see pav back.
Babs comments of "hopefully doing the right thing" have me a bit nervous.
But here's to hoping for a great performance out of the gate.
And playing hard for 60 mins.

LGW!!
