Dallas used our picks in that trade to take Wyatt Johnston (already in the NHL and on pace for 36 pts at 19 years old) Artem Grushnikov - a top defensive dman in the OHL And Jack Bar - average college defense prospect Meanwhile Cossa can barely put together a decent ECHL game. Stevie should have been patient and waited for a goalie to fall to him at 23. He may have still gotten Cossa, or maybe even Walstedt. Just sucks that Stevie SPENT solid assets to reach up and take this guy... then walnuts continues to look like the better player post draft, and now Cossa is stinking up the ECHL. But as a Goalie he may or may not turn out, you take your best swing and live with it. Goalies are the hardest players to project. Its always the team that had players getting injured that whines and cries about bad luck. Meanwhile, the team with the bigger and stronger guys TAKE MORE SHOTS and DELIVER MORE HITS - and this turns into our soft panzy boy team leading the league in injuries and man games lost every year. I know you are a bit of a spazzoid, Marc, so its hard to just be still and digest things for a few minutes instead of blurting out a kneejerk reaction. But think about it.
