He's stepped his game up for sure but all season long he's been productive. No way Yzernan let's this guy walk, fast can score and has nice bite to his game. Imagine him playing alongside Kasper next season, throw ras or copp on the lw or you could even put Kas there and play Copp at center still. I honestly am starting to believe this team could win a cup before 2030. The team has finally bought in to Derek's system all of a sudden the bottom two d pairs actually look playoff caliber against the leagues best. The chemistry the forwards have rn is something I haven't seen in Detroit in a long time.

What a cheeky shot by Cat, his IQ in the ozone is definitely elite I'll give him that for sure.

The prime aged players on this team are all horses and all on pretty good contracts. Compher, Walman, Sprong, Fischer, Kostin, Ras, Dcat, Larkin are all playing really really well. The fact that we've got the prospects coming that we do makes me have a lot of faith in the direction of this team. We could lose Petry, Chiarot, Perron, Gost, Holl, Maatta, Fabbri, and Copp and still be in really good shape going forward.

Neither of those goals were on defenseman, cat doesn't track his man on the first goal of the second and Kostin took way too long to clear that puck out. Great play by Hintz as he was falling if I'm remembering correctly? Nothing the d could do Lyon shouldn't of opened his legs.
