X4 of which are high 1st rounders, and only one a 2nd rounder, who sits every other game... nada from the 3-7th rounds. This is bare minimum for even a bad GM. High 1sts a drunk chimp can hit on 80% of the time. The goalie carousel is a continued yearly mess 6 years later... 6 years in and only NOW we might have our coach..? And by "our coach" i mean SY hard panicked and 180ed to a coaching outsider, who never appeared to even be on the radar, until his first choice flopped HARD... We took on a buyout from holland last year for literalky nothing, if not negative value, in return. He refused to believe in his team and buy at the TDL last year. But also refused to give up on his team and sell. And in the end paid the price of medocrity by being rewarded for his fence sitting and lack of future outlook/planning with nothing. No playoffs and s*** draft rank. He added the trash patch to our sacred orig 6 sweater. Total cursed blasphemy. Ads on the helmets. He's done nothing but fat cat nepotism with the front office. Hiring his brother and his buddies Lidstrom, Draper, Kronwall, and Verbeek, to the most key positions. Theyll never challenge him and in return hell never fire them... he even let draper waste one of the organizations draft picks on drapers own snot nosed kid in the BCHL. Who everyone knew had no shot at the NHL. Multiple wings under yzermans tenure have wound up in the junky program He fired long tenured employee and cult legend Al the zamboni pisser, who we literally named the freaking mascot after. SY tenure is cursed. Okay CRL, #9, or whatever your name is, when are you gonna aknowedlege what Yzerman did right???? ok Well he fleeced Fabbri out of STL... oh yeah but then he paid big to get rid of him for no reason... He also fleeced Walman out of STL too!... oh yeah but then he again paid big to grt rid of him for no reason... Nick Leddy was pretty regarded after the fact I guess Chiarot, JTC, and Copp are pretty C grade signings. Is that good? Tarasenko and Kane are starying to look like s*** Fuqqqq Petry and Gustaffsson are terrible too i almost forgot Not sure the Debrincat move was as good as it seemed in the moment at this point... Damn i was supposed to be saying what SY has done right... well he drafted Seider Edvinsson and Raymond. Not that impresive considering draft position but still good right!..? We are witnessing the after math of a dynasty. IE the gravy train. Yzerman has secured the position he will never be fired from. And despite the clear and obvious failures I just pointed out, most fan dumb goy brains will still respond "nahhh dat yzermun, he good, he wuv detwoit, doin good job to me!" Red wings will be good post cronyism era. Aka post yzerman and his buddies. Guarranteed Lids is pulling a Coffey and coaching his kids PeeWee swedish team while we pay him a salary to do nothing.
