#2599600 ECQF Game 4 GDT : Lightning 3 at Red Wings 2 (OT) - Series Tied 2-2

Stamkos & OT does not make me feel comfortable...

If we had Cleary, I'd be comfortable right now.  We don't have Cleary.

@Proteautype: John Tortorella in Philly would be the Flyersest thing in the history of Flyerdom.

Please list your candidates to be the first Lightning player to ever be Kronwalled in the playoffs in their franchise history.

I have so much respect for Alfie, the guy doesn't hang on like Marty or Jaromir he actually listens to his body.

Jagr scored 24-43-67 last year. I'm pretty sure his body is telling him to put the puck in the net and the check in the bank. Good call, Jaromir.

I have so much respect for players who play as long as they want not how long "fans" think they should play.

I still wake up sweating in the middle of the night hearing "SAVE by Giguere!"

I'm not a fan, was never a fan. That usually means they did something to significantly damage us with their skill in the past. Glad to see you go Giguere, but at the same time, part of me was glad to witness parts of your career.

What about the wings?!?! I mean if you look closely there is a wheel to symbolize the motor city and a wings attached cause we're the wings

So what? I don't care...wrong board.

Trying to compare sizes with Jurco's moves? Shootout skills won't turn your franchise into a contender, I'm afraid

Hey now PredsFan is one of our favorite non Wings fan first.

I voted fight with Pronger because wings fans deserve more of this from our team.

That will probably win, but I like to forget anything that happened in those playoffs.

Cleary was awful in the 2008 playoffs, but the Wings won the Cup.  In 2009, he was brilliant and scored a lot, but the Wings lost and he missed that crucial breakaway at the end of game 6 against the Pens.

2007 is a better memory, because the team vindicated itself after choking in the playoffs in 2003, 2004 and 2006.  Losing to Anaheim on a deflection sucked, and I still feel we'd have won the Cup if not for that play, but overall, that playoff feels better.  Also likely because we won the Cup the following year.  2009 still stings because the Wings haven't won anything since then.

Man, those post lockout years were (almost) magnificent.  2006, favorites for the Cup. Sure, they choked big time, but they were still overwhelming favorites and won a ridiculous amount of games.  In '07 they shed the choke reputation and were so close to the finals.  '08 was a Cup win, '09 was a Game 7 final that we played with one hand behind our back and still almost won.

2010 had so much promise, and then the injury parade started, and mixed with retirements we haven't been the same since.
