Hey look everybody! It's Crymson here to judge us again! Wish I could've caught the game tonight. It sounded like a good one. This should be a great confidence builder for Jimmy. And it never ceases to amaze me how Z can turn it on come playoff time. He loves to shoot the puck and carry it into high traffic areas, both of which you really need this time of year. Howard made a save without a mask??

I won't jump ship if we lose but I'll be lowering the life boats... Regardless, this is pretty damn close to a must win and might as well play it like one. Wings win 3-0. Yea that's right I said it.

What a horrendously bad decision that would have been. I would have been livid had the NHL went to 4-on-4 OT in the playoffs. I understand it for the regular season and all because you want to have a clear cut winner quickly, but this is the playoffs. 5-on-5 OT playoff hockey is amazing and does nothing but good for the game. The following are archives for Wings games that will open in a new flash player window. These are not hosted by me, but the NHL and streamed on demand by their servers. I figure I'd share these while it's still possible, so sometime in the future be it in weeks, months or seasons they will cease to work....so watch them while you can. I will be updating this post as the season goes on; new games tend to be up anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours after they've been played before they become archives. I will also be adding posts in this thread of past playoffs and seasons, so eventually nearly every Wings game through the 07/08 season will be posted. Again I don't know how long this will last. Due to this being a long list I'm generating in excel there could be some errors, or the rare chance there is no archive of the game. Just ask me to look at a certain game should you find one not working and I'll look into it. I'm not sure of the best way to lay this out, so I'm just doing a simple list. It will be interesting to see how Chicago responds. They're obviously an extremely talented team, but they don't have the experience of running into a team like Nashville in the playoffs. Down 2-1 on the road is serious gut check time.

We have a 93 on our team, I see that number in the penalty box once in a while. My eyes must be deceiving me though, because I see no 93 on the ice.

Do you enjoy making s*** up simply because you have dug yourself into a hole? Hudler wasn't going to make a rash decision simply because the team has cap problems. That's on the GM to figure out and those are the risks KENNY takes. KENNY needs to be aware of who will become a free agent at what time and be able to have a game plan set up. He did everything he could and unfortunately Sammy was a victim of the cap. These are human beings. Human beings who play a sport in which they don't know when they will stop making money (hint: most people don't end their careers in their late 30s). Also consider the possibility of injuries ending their career or preventing them from making as much money as they planned. Hudler was focusing on his future and his finances. He should never have to disregard his own needs simply because the team he plays for is in a bit of a vice. And considering the circumstances (not going to another NHL team and allowing the Wings to keep his rights) I would say he made a decision to help both parties.
