Wings have been pretty damn good this season, I haven't watched EVERY game, but what I saw in the 2nd half of last nights game was the worst I've seen them play this season. Z almost never has a BAD game, but that's what he had last night. He's had games where he's been invisible, but I can't remember ever noticing him doing so many things..wrong. Maybe it's not his worst game ever, but it HAS to be up there. So no, I don't think I was being overdramatic.

exactly. no team has ever won 82 games in a season. when the wings are playing a good game and are winning we ask ourselves: "how do these guys ever lose a game?" well... this is how it happens. even if they win 60 games this year they will still lose 22. this game was one of those 22.

I never said they wouldn't come out of the gates flat. I also didn't predict when Frazen would break his stick or when Lidstrom skate would need to be resharpend. I just said unless Howard plays like a GOD, Wings would lose. We simply watched the first game back from a grueling road trip/back-to-back. The reason I brought it to this thread is because the other thread won't open and a couple of posters (you? - don't remember) said Howard doesn't need to steal this one for Wings to win. I love people on this site who predict that the Wings will lose every game (ie. Mindfly) and then when they do occasionally lose they act like they are the mesiah of hockey predictions !

Pretty much. Why waste money on having someone design your third when you can use one that 99.99% of your fanbase loves and you already have designed? Take off the Winter Classic patch a boom, instant third jersey, and an instant classic. You could even have a fourth jersey and flip the red and white bands (and obviously lettering/numbering colors) if you wanted it to be home colors (as most thirds are).
