K guys you are missing the point in this article. For one, he isn't talking about our fanbase..... People hate the Bruins because they play thug hockey. People hate the Rangers because of Tortorella and players "shooting" goalies after a goal. People hate the Canucks because they are divers/crybabies. People hate the Sharks because of players like Thornton (playoff cheap shot master) and Pavelski (diver). People hate Chicago because they have guys like Kane who will score a goal and race out to center ice with a celebration. People hate the Wings because.....they win? When our guys score they act like they've done it before. They don't play goon hockey. They don't complain in the media. They don't dish out cheap shots. And to that Blues fan, other than not being able to get over the "Red Wings hump", the only incidents you could be referring to are the Chris Pronger days.

Well you get put into the NHL offender database, which means you won't be able to watch hockey unless supervised by a league rep, and if you move you have to go door to door in a 5 mile radius of your new address to alert your neighbors that you're an offender.

i used the "grenade" style while in phoenix when bertuzzi scored the shootout winner. everyones hands went in the air, i threw it up from behind me and continued the upward motion with "high fives" to everyone around me. the problem that occured was the buddy next to me went closer to get pictures and the security swarmed him and held all of us for "questioning" during this time they never once looked my way with any questions. one security guard had a serious bug up his ass, assumed that since my friend was so interested in getting a photo,(which he didnt get to) that he must be guilty. my friend, of course egged the guard on with, so columbo, you saw me,huh?, and where did i keep the creature on my person? would my hands have some strange smell to them? you do realize that the guilty one is getting away, dont you? etc....then mid questioning, they changed it to, dead animal. so the cops would be more inclined to stick around. 4 security guards, 3 cops, and 20 minutes of video review couldn't figure out who threw it. the police apologized, and then chewed out the security guard for wasting his time with this dribble. so, there you have my adventure....be a ninja, or dont do it at all. big brother is watching.

Go into the area with a hat and blank shirt, and hide the octo in a large cup. After you chuck it leave the area, throw on a jersey, take the hat off and you'll be fine. That's how it's done in Detroit.

Gotta find a way to sniff out two points in this one. This could be a potential playoff match up for the first time in ten years, which is awkward considering how good both these teams were for the past decade. Datsyuk and Flip will give it their best as usual, if Franzen and Z could do the same, we will win this one. Since I live near the Vancouver area, we have to sit through those douches on Sportsnet Pacific talking trash about other teams and sucking up to the Sedin sisters. One particular idiot said Datsyuk didn't even belong as a top 5 ASG draft pick, but ******* Stamkos does.

This isnt about fans hating the Wings, it says "players" dont hate the Wings. Cprice, you are classic...please enlighten us on the players that you know for a fact hate the Wings and provide us with the players statements that prove it. We already know you are jealous and that is why you hate. I personally only dislikes teams because of their idiot fans who think they know stuff, but they really dont....ie Blues.

My fam is all nuck fans so I watch almost all there games I think If we have a good defensive game and work the puck down low we should win this game there defensive depth is pretty awful right now our forwards should be able to expose them. Let's hope the first line is clicking Tom and Howard has another great game.

ya what a stud. very dastyukian play to take the puck through the neutral zone then make a nice pass outside which leads to the original shot on goal. everytime i try to tell my friends how sweet hes going to be, nobody quite understands me yet. theyll see!

Give the guy a break. He got a puck shot into his face. Not much you can do about that one. Even if he has had injury problems before hand, he hasn't been that injury prone while with the Wings besides for maybe a 10 game groin injury it has been all minor.

#5 Lidstrom - pretty self-explanatory. Lifetime wing and the best player of his generation. Has done it all. #20 Downey - 2008 Stanley Cup. Enough said. #4 Red Kelly - at some point, this organization will get a clue and retire his number. Probably after Ilitch dies and new ownership takes over. Before Lidstrom, he was the best defenseman ever to play for this franchise. #6 Larry Aurie - same as above. His number may likely be restored one day where it belongs. #7 Norm Ullman - a great player who was one of the best centers of his era. Only, I think he wore the same number as Lindsay. Don't know how that would work. #91 Sergei Fedorov - this is one that will probably not happen, but I wish it would. I know it's been debated to death around here. But in 25 years, who knows. #13 and #40 - They may or may not get retired, depending on how much more they accomplish in their careers.

BTW Trading Flip would be stupid...
