Whoops...I didn't read the date properly. I thought the Wings were going to be flying home from the Hawks game last night to play tonight, hence the 2/22 GDT date. Earlier tonight I was extremely irritated when I turned on 97.1 and the Pistons were on, and no sports on AM 1270. I went online to look up if there was any station that was broadcasting the Wings. My attitude quickly went from to to when I saw the game was indeed tomorrow, not tonight. I sorry!

I dont think holland has it all figured out yet either. Too many variables this offseason. If lids is still on the fence and possible retirements from homer he has to be careful he doesnt lose too many players all at once. I think thats y bert was signed. Hudler could be gone who knows. Eaves' future is up in the air as well. Not to mention there are 29 other gms ******* up plans all over the place.

Just glad to have Bert back next year. He has been a huge part of our success this year he seems to have played better this year then he has for a long time. Welcome back big guy

i know Steve Ott has a particular job in this game, and he does it well. Does Detroit need a player that does that particular job? I am not sure. Let's sum this up here: -We have 6 grinding forwards (miller, abdelkader, helm, holmstrom, emmerton/mursak/, cleary) -Moen? Gaustad? we already have 6 of those guys...... -5 playmakers (zetterberg, datsyuk, filppula, hudler, bertuzzi) -1 sniper (Franzen - who, like was said, misses the net a lot because he tries to go top shelf with every shot) I SAY: we neeed a sniper.

Well, so does Hossa, Kane, Selanne, Perry, Giroux, Jagr, St. Louis, Iginla...should I continue? Oh yeah, and the guy some of you want to package Franzen for.

Stuart and Kindl (and most likely a pick) to Anaheim, Selanne to Detroit. I think Stuart has decided to go back.

I have gotten that same feeling in the past 24 hours with the moves going on with the wings. It just feels like the Quincey trade was a precursor to something else. Maybe I'm just being hopeful that something more is going on but Kenny always seems to make deals that no one is expecting. Even though the Wings have been playing really well and have good chemistry the only thing that matters is getting it done in the post season. We can't afford to lose to the Sharks again this year! I'm sure Kenny has a plan and I do think there will be another move by the deadline. In a related note my close friend works for the Maple Leafs and I'm not sure where he is getting his info from but he claims the Red Wings have submitted some sort of offer for Grabovski. Have no idea where he heard this and it shouldn't be taken to seriously but just thought that was interesting.

Glad to have Quincey back! Wasn't too confident Piche was gonna make it anyway, however, a 1st rounder? 23 points in 54 games is a plus. He is -1, but that doesn't worry me too much, considering it was with Colorado. I had a feeling Downie was available. I'm jealous of the Avs a little Now, it sounds like he is here to stay a while. Stuart's replacement? Likely, but I don't think it would be wise for Ken to deal Stuart at the deadline. He's an important component of our defense. In addition, I don't think Commodore is gonna attract much interest. That leaves Kindl. He will draw interest, but do we wanna get rid of him at the deadline? Well, I don't think we're gonna roll with 8 defensemen. I think Stuart will likely be dealt after the season is over, so we can at least get something for him. It is clear Ken is not done. OK, you quoted my post? One does not have to pay close attention to the statistics like you have to know if the Wings are playing good hockey or not. Pavel, rest up and get better bro... Hope folks do not criticize the way you wipe your ass over the next 2 weeks and keep track if you shake one or two times after using the urinal.

I hope it's a real arena that can seat at least 18k. Another 15k arena like the one in Winnipeg would be a terrible idea.
