Quincey and Smith have been awful together as a pairing from day one and yet Babs continues to stick with them. It's honestly ridiculous and I think Smith's development is being hampered by being anchored with Quincey. Put DeKeyser with Smith and keep Kindl and Lashoff together. Quincey should be a healthy scratch permanently. He's absolutely the worst player on the team.

It just blows my mind. He's won a cup, a gold medal, and a world championship. But yet he continues to play a washed up role player, and pairs up 2 defenceman who are a combined -20 on the season. Just insane. Worst period all year bar none, wake up and start to play. You're on goddamn home ice and the fans are booing you, the Lions did a great job of having the fans turn on them at home this year, don't follow suit!

They should allow checking in the women's game.

Quincey for the Norris. He helps 29 teams in the league.

If Babcock has a fault, it's his inexplicable rigidity with regards to lineups. Certain players don't get scratched when they should be scratched, or demoted when they should get demoted. Cleary and Quincey are examples of this. Quincey should have gotten the bench for at least a few games this season, and Cleary should not be playing at all.

Call the fight what you want but at least the women showed some push back on both teams. We have watched our goalies get ran our best players get hammered and nothing ever happens. Laughing at the way this fight happened have you ever watched some of our players in a scrum????? just sayin'

I'm not sure thisis going to help the discussion at all... But if there was less clothing involved most of these posts would've tuned to a different key. Others have already pointed out the sound evidence that Babcock is one of if not the best coaches in the league. And that's what it comes down to for me. In terms of replacing him, I don't think there's a clear candidate that's better. Holland has been the most disappointing these last few seasons, not Babcock.
