My favorite rslured part of star wars is Lucas completely destroying his perfect 3 piece story by wrecking Vadar's redemption arc. Only watching ep 4 thru 6, Vadar is seen as a powerful force user who lost his way and only uses his powers against adults who get in his way. The storm troopers and military personnel do the senseless killing. Vadar is calculating. When he saves Luke and kills the emperor, there is actually a redeeming quality present because of this. After Lucas added all the homicidal maniac qualities to Anakin in the prequels and extras, he's no longer a guy you can forgive. Big mistake there. They should have just made Vadar a jedi hunter and shown him refusing to kill anything less than fully trained jedi or imcompetent admirals/generals that made things harder on him.
