Yes lets walk our best winger straight to free agency. Theres no scenario where Yzerman shouldnt lock up Ray and Seider to max term. $7.5m and $8.5m respectively would be good contracts now and be some of the best contracts league wide in the next year or 2. Stop trying to cheap out on talent especially homegrown talent. -

Why I asked the question. I think we have 2 future top 6 forwards here. Danielson is the likely c and move Kasper to w. Id like to see Kasper on Larkins wing along with Raymond next season. Danielson may need some time to adjust to pro hockey but should be the top c in GR to start next season. -

Danielson will definitely score more. He’s a much more natural skill player and his shot is way better. Marco creates a ton but his finishing is bad. That said, he’s probably going to be a better defender and should be able to do a lot of heavy lifting against other teams’ top players. -

1 pointAlso, if anyone is watching the Florida vs. Boston series right now thinking "man we need a guy like Sam Bennett", pay attention to how Marco Kasper plays tonight. There are A LOT of similarities in their games. After seeing how some of our more important prospects have developed this season I'm pumped for the future of this team.
