I don't understand on the referees can call a penalty at what end of the ice and when Holmstrom gets cross-checked and tackled in front of the net... Guess what NO CALL

How can this be?

Well I have come to the conclusion that if you play a southern NHL team the refs (NHL) will do whatever they can to help these teams win because they are teams that need to win to keep their fan base.

Don't get me wrong Detroit did deserve most of the penalties that were called tonight but Nashville was doing the same sort of things and nothing was called.

I doubt you'll find many fans here who think either are true #1's, they just like one over the other.

But yeah, Wings won't go anywhere without a guy who can match the performances of the Vokouns, Kiprusoffs, Gigueres, etc etc - Legace and Osgood definitely can't.

Lang/goalie for a better goalie? Who knows.

Wow, what a great way to build an inter-conference rivalry - put the crowd to sleep. Pitiful freakin' game once again. They can take this new NHL and bleep bleep bleep it in in their bleep bleep bleep and then bleep bleep bleep.

On the bright side, this bodes well for our game against Vancouver.
