betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 Good for UV...I see their getting a good QB next year- Peter Lalich Yes, and I'd like to see him redshirt, though it depends on how Jameel Sewell does for the rest of the year. In the end I think Sewell might be better off as a running back, though to be perfectly fair, his receivers drop balls like they've got thumbtacks sticking out of them. And I thought Marques Hagans should have been moved to receiver, and I was dead wrong on that one. At the moment, Rivals.com has our 2007 recruiting class ranked #6(!) But it's still early. As usual, Al Groh is recruiting the daylights out of the nation's linebackers.

He's enrolling in December so the extra time will benifit a lot!
Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 I like UVA, it's a really nice college and I liked the campus. I just cant stand VA Tech. I think UVA was the only public university ranked ahead of Michigan. I forget where Ohio State was, somewhere in the Top 15, and Sparty made the Top 50 finally. Actually Michigan typically runs 4th among public schools. They've got that spot fairly well nailed down. I don't know who's 5th, but I know UVA and Berkeley are always neck-and-neck for #1, and UNC usually gets third. I should know - the Cav Daily runs the story in extreme detail every time there's a ranking done, for obvious reasons of bragging. Tech sucks.

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted October 21, 2006 As I tune in to see State getting thumped 24-3 by Northwestern, the question inevitably arises... is this John L. Smith's last year in Lansing?
hockeyfanatic 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2006 Only 676 hours til Ohio State-Michigan.... I'd say it's time to start counting the minutes if U-M beats Iowa today. As I tune in to see State getting thumped 24-3 by Northwestern, the question inevitably arises... is this John L. Smith's last year in Lansing? I'd be very suprised if he wasn't out the door. Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted October 21, 2006 (edited) HOLY s***! It's 38-38 and MSU has the ball late in the 4th quarter. When I left the OSU game it was 38-3...wow. Edited October 21, 2006 by Hockeytown Red Wings

betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted October 21, 2006 20-6. 668 1/2 hours left Bonus: Florida State lost. That's never a bad thing.
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted October 21, 2006 Heh... guess I'm just a worrier. That's why my friends call me Whiskers. Glad to see Mike Hart have a monster half. The whole offense just goes so much smoother when the running game is rolling... you can go ahead and nominate that thought for the "No Duh Awards" if you like. betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted October 21, 2006 Interesting tidbit I learned: barring something weird, the game against Ball State will be the 200th in a row of 100,000+ attendance. And yeah....that comment definitely goes in the Thank You Captain Obvious category honestly, I don't know if Manningham would have made a difference in the first half when Michigan couldn't go anywhere.....the Iowa line was playing out of their minds and stuffing both the run and the pass. But Mike Hart is a damn beast. Now we can exhale, just a little bit.
