shannyfan1414 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2007 So i'm now done shaving untill after the playoffs. I will grow a very ugly patchy beard but it's for the good of the team, right?!?!?! Does anyone remember back in the Stanely Cup finals in 2002 versus Carolina when Shanahan, while he was in the penalty box, mocked one of the hurricanes fan for not shaving her armpits. He did the whole mock armpit shaving. Quite funny. That right there is why I will never utter a cross word about Shanny - wherever he goes. That was a true Stanley Cup classic. The comings of the Great Reaper are weeks or even months removed from one another. And even when called upon, it's to wipe clean mere patches (which, when viewed from afar, are perfectly repulsive). I've had some pretty serious playoff beards in the past, although one of them was technically cheating because I let it grow till the finals were over even though the Wings had already lost.
