SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted September 21, 2010 An elephant went to the camel and asked, "Why are your boobs in the wrong place?" The camel responded, "That's funny coming from somebody whose you know what is 4 feet too high."

HOCKEY MATTERS 167 Report post Posted September 22, 2010 And you are allowed to use a washer and dryer? Not very authentic. So which side you on? lol, yeah, in first person, at events, wash day is a stroll through the nearest body of water. Washing clothes and a bath consists of whatever happens to get wet. My group does Some Federal events as the 22nd Michigan, but mostly as the Confederate 8th Arkansas. I am a big on the idea of States' rights. 1 55fan reacted to this

Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted September 24, 2010 PI is important because it is part of PIE: Have you ever noticed that 3.14 backwards looks eerily like PIE?
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted September 24, 2010 Is that the reason it's called that?
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted September 24, 2010 No, pi is a Greek letter similar to alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon, etc. Pi was chosen specifically as the name for the 3.14 constant most likely because pi is the first letter of perimeter in Greek, and the constant 3.14 is the ratio of the circumference (perimeter) of a circle to its diameter. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted September 24, 2010 Have you ever noticed that 3.14 backwards looks eerily like PIE? You just freaked me out. And Jenny: That's not a PI. PI are square.
Jenny 315 Report post Posted September 25, 2010 Maybe, but PIE are round. Cobbler are square.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted September 25, 2010 Why are women's purses so heavy? I swear I had mine to a reasonable weight, but I seem to have accumulated more "stuff" to weigh it down again.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted September 25, 2010 Why are women's purses so heavy? I swear I had mine to a reasonable weight, but I seem to have accumulated more "stuff" to weigh it down again. And why do you guys need so many?
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted September 25, 2010 I haven't figured out the needing more than one purse thing (except for having one small one for when you don't have to lug around stuff for the rest of the family and one for when you do), but I think I just answered Dawn's question. My question is: How do guys get along without one? I get the wallet and pockets for money, credit cards, and ID, but where do you put (checks contents of purse) the cell phone, Sirius radio and clicker, cough drops, motrin, birth control, check book, lovely Christmas tree brooch from Aunt Em, spare earrings, pony tail holders, matches, snus, receipts from Menards (BTW- the kitchen is done!), candies to bribe small children, extra keys, reading glasses, and allergy pills? I left out the feminine supplies. You don't need them. But I bet that if you did, you'd carry a purse to hide them. Back when I had a bigger purse, I used to carry a couple screwdrivers and duct tape, but now that I have a vehicle, I leave them in there. Hey! That could be a fun thread: the What's in Your Purse? thread!
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted September 25, 2010 ) I guess you did answer my question, If I had listed what's in mine it probably would have too. I have never understood the need for multiple purses either because I have the 2 options and that's it. And to answer your question Karen, guys just don't need the same things we do and if they do, who do they ask for it? Us
