I assumed this was going to be a sirdrake thread, and my reply was going to be "silly buddy, there ARE no players like Chris Chelios."

But since it's not---I would guess no, they probably don't. Can you even imagine what it would be like for just about anyone other that Lids or Hank? Would you really want to come online and hear that you:

A) are lazy and you suck

B) aren't worth your money/shouldn't be re-signed/should be traded

C) aren't as good as a guy in GR/your backup/a draft pick/a boiled octopus

D) are lazier and suck more than Robert Lang

I know taking criticism goes with the territory, but there's a huge difference between getting it as a part of your life and going online looking for it.

Of course, it is entirely possible that their wives, gfs, mothers, friends, children, etc. may be reading.

In which case, please tell Kronwall to stay healthy for me, will you?

yes, players do read message boards. not all players, but some do. I have yet to see any who post though.

Pete Weber does post on the preds boards, and several preds have mentioned to fans in person that they have ventured over to read the boards from time to time. I would assume that it's no different with wings players or any other team.
