Red or White Jerseys at home?

They have a poll up at www.detroitredwings.com asking which jersey you like best for home, the Red jerseys or the White like they had before.

I personally like the Red the best so my vote goes for Red, I made a poll for LGW aswell to see what everybody on here thought aswell. to make your vote officially count you should go to the redwings site and vote.

Also like the idea Mick had tonight, wearing both each half of the season.

Red. Granted the Wings aren't the only team with red as a color, but it's way more unique than white.

Plus I'm in love with the red helmets, and they'd look bad with white jerseys.

I like the red sweaters at home but I also like seeing the other team's colors, like Ken said during tonight's game. Otherwise it's just an endless parade of white sweaters on the opposite team.

Side note: speaking of switching jerseys, wasn't it great when the Wings used to actually play Original 6 teams besides Chicago, and sometimes the Wings would wear their home jersey in the other Original 6 team's rink, and vice versa?

i like white, cause of the wings winning 2 cups at home in the white jerseys. plus im used to it and it is better to see different colored jerseys every night. thats what makes the other teams unique.

2. Our logo looks way better on a red background than a white one

This is probably the one time I would deviate from tradition. I prefer teams flying their colors at home, so I'm going with red.

I wasn't a fan of the change to red at home when they first did it, but it's grown on me now.

I think that white looks the best and we always use to wear white for our home games in the past. I wish we still did wear white at home.

Either way you cut Detroit has the best jersey in the NHL.

Dark Homes makes it cheaper for teams to sell/wear their third jerseys.

Personally, I perfer the Whites but would like to see a 10 year rotation between wearing Darks or Whites at home.
