It was off the Av defenseman's skate.

Flip will get the goal. Nice strong work carrying the puck.

Gee, that would make back-to-back 2 goal games!

They score, darn. Giveaway from Rafalski, he's really got to cut them out.

Okay, who turned that over? <_<

I swear, Dom gives up more "1st NHL goal ever!" goals that any other goalie I've seen.

It's his gift to the young'uns coming up in the league.

I hate last minute goals (against us), and wish they would pay better attention to what's going on, instead of looking forward to the intermission. Let down.

They'll come back out firing, I betcha!

i have reason to believe Osgood would have stopped that weak goal. I am starting to think we are better off with Osgood in net. I actually feel more comfortable during a game when he is in goal actually.

Regardless of whether or not Osgood wouldve stopped that goal, it wasnt Doms fault. McLeod had all kinds of room and Dom was ill-prepared. But you simply can't blame him. Who expects any Red Wings defenseman to make an absolutely horrific pass like that in his own zone?? That goal should rest squarely on Rafalskis shoulders. He needs to make up for that one big time tonight, or itll be a round of drinks for the team on his bill.

That wasnt all Dom's fault. Raffy should have never tried to make that pass

cleary said the goal was his, but it looked like it went off of an Av skate. Either way, Flip is on fire

Yeah, it was hard to tell from the replays, but I never saw anything that looked like it hit Cleary.

I thought it was off Budaj, then the Av defenseman's skate.

Either way, that goal was all due to the hard work from Flip. Protecting the puck and refusing to get knocked off it. It's great to see.
