puckbags 863 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 I thought Z's injuries were minor its been like what 2 weeks?? The luxury of getting off to a tremendous start and having a 19 pt lead in the division. Z can rest, rest, rest until he and the doctors are good and damn well sure that his back is good to go!! Wing's win 6-1 and I say we go over the 50 shot mark tommorow night!!
Jamaica Jon 1 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 I'm excited for this game! I've been out of town since Christmas Eve so I've missed the last few games. I finally get to watch Hopefully I'm not bad luck for Filppula tho, here's to 2 more goals tonight! For those above: I heard Zetts will be out for the entire road trip because he stayed in Detroit (along with Homer). Sucks not getting to see him play, but I'm not too disappointed that he's getting some rest.
irishtemper14+25 11 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 Great GDT aflac, hopefully the games are timed perfectly at the GLI so that during intermission i can watch the wings win 6-1 dats(2), flip, huds(2), cleary
Cicada 4 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 i think this will be far more difficult than we think.. the Lost Dogs might actually bother to show up, since they'll have some fans actually turn up to their building. I'd say 3-2 Wings. Hudler hatrick.
wingfanatic4alltime 32 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 http://detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?A...372/1004/SPORTS Ozzie is starting hopefully Hasek gets untired if thats a word lol
TheWestWing 71 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 Road trip - gonna be there! The Yotes are playing better than they look and Gretz may be getting the hang of this coaching thing. And by all means do yourself a treat and get the PHX feed if you can - Panger is a hoot and you all know he still has his man crush on Stevie! Interesting meaningless Yotes stat: 1st in W% when scoring first. 5th in SOG - only 5 fewer shots per game than us.
Wings_Dynasty 267 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 Wings 5 (Dats, Draper, Kopper, Flip, Stein) Yotes 2 (Doan x2) I'm hoping Doan has a good game so Kenny will go after him in March.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 Maybe the Wings will generate more than a one goal lead tonight, so we can make Wayne cry about running up the score. Cheli is back tonight. Rafalski will have a better game, hopefully, no passing to the enemy, please. I expect the another good game from Flip, Kronner and Hudler. Otherwise, I don't see much of a challenge tonight, but you never know! Worried about Hank, here. I hope he's back by Jan 5 (I have tix for Stars/Wings in Dallas), but I won't be surprised to see him gone until after the All-Star break. 4-3 Wings in regulation, I say. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 I dont like Ozzie in for this game because that means Hasek in against St Louis. Not good. We'll probably win 9-0 tonight now.
Viperar 16 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 Yup I would rather have hasek in for this game, but we should win this one hopefully, just hoping for no injuries

Guest DetroitIan Report post Posted December 29, 2007 The Yotes have been playing great hockey ever since they snagged Bryzgolov. I don't expect this one to be a blowout by any means. But still, I do expect a Red Wings victory. Red Wings 3(Flipper, Cleary, Rafalski) Coyotes 2(Vrbata, Doan)

Give it up already. Doan isn't even going to be a free agent. Were not gonna get Doan. The Yotes have been playing great hockey ever since they snagged Bryzgolov. I don't expect this one to be a blowout by any means. But still, I do expect a Red Wings victory. Red Wings 3(Flipper, Cleary, Rafalski) Coyotes 2(Vrbata, Doan) Love the Avatar. kylee 727 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 hopefully the Wings wont underestimate and take they will take care of business tonight. im just waiting for the Wings to fall off in dealing without Zetterberg and Holmstrom....its just not happening. Tiribulus 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 I wish I had more time to be here, I really like this forum. I believe it's a mistake to write any team in this league off on any given night. Phoenix didn't make it too easy last game. As for playing without Hank and Homer (don't forget Malts on the PK) it just shows how deep and versatile our team is that the holes get filled, guys step up and we continue to win. Earthhuman 8 Report post Posted December 29, 2007 I agree. I'm well and truly surprised at our offensive depth. On the other hand, Phoenix doesn't have the manpower to put the puck in the net a whole lot. I saw them play against NJ, when they were beginning to get good, and they can play a pretty stifling game. We'll see, but I'm gonna say low-scoring.
MaynardJKeenan 1 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 I got a bad feeling about this game. I'm hoping for a 5-2 win, but I think it will be a 3-1 loss.
