I have a good feeling about this game. I think the Wings are at the end of their funk, and tonight COULD be one of those total domination games. They will step up their play now that they're feeling the heat. Just like they did in the playoffs last year. I have total faith that since they are capable of it, they will come back and dominate like they have all year after losses.

See, I picked the Wings to lose this one in the weekend picks...so let's see if that helps them win.

So did I, and if thats what helps them win games, well then i will pick against them every weekend, just so they win.

I keep missing all these day games due to work.... <_<

GO WINGS!

Ok, so is it at 1:00 or 3:30???

Either way, no prediciton. All I want is 60 minutes of real Red Wings hockey.

It's 3:30pm according to NHL.com, someone was messing around with the post cause I noticed that my team leaders graphics were gone!

For the sake of suicide rate on this board i hope they win!

Not to mention the people jumping from the wings bus have a higher tendancy of broken limbs.

Go Wings!

it's 3:30 Eastern. To those of us in Central Time -- that's 2:30PM! Don't want to miss the entire first perry-odd...Or maybe we do. We shall see!! :hehe:

I haven't decided yet whether I am happy or sad that I am not there in person today.

it will be tough with all the injuries but I have a good feeling that we will start to turn around

Hopefully Howard can hold it together. Go Wings!

Howard won't be the problem if there is one, I suspect. What the Wings need to present is a decent offensive effort, taking advantage of the fact that the Stars are missing Zubov and Boucher, their top two offensive defensemen. Stars would be easy pickin's for a Wings team on their game.

It remains to see if the Wings are up to the task today and are sufficiently disgusted with their own recent play to bounce back. I just hope they don't leave Jimmy out there defenseless (literally).

I had the weirdest dream last night - I was the 3rd goaltender for the NY Islanders...DiPietro had just torn his ACL and was on the bench in bandages, and Dubowietz's (sp) pads had just been flagged by the league, so I had to go in and face Briere and the Flyers.

Anyways, no way do the Wings come out looking like they just woke up 10 minutes before.

I'm gonna miss this game, cuz I'll be watching THE DAYTONA 500!!!!!!!

but i'll flip to NBC during nascar commercials. I say wings give up 2 goals in the 1st, and 1 in the 2nd but come back to tie it 3-3 and win it in a shootout 4-3.

Ah, that's a shame.
