RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted February 17, 2008 This is a pretty big game for both teams, and both squads come in on completely opposite trajectories. With a Dallas win, the Stars are only eight points back of us in the conference and, with a western Canada trip looming, that number is a little too close for comfort. The Wings always play well against Turco and the Stars, so this should be a good one. I'm excited to see what Jimmy Howard can do with a full 60 minutes. Go Wings. Here's why: If we win, we escape our slump and gain confidence from beating the 2nd place team in the conference. It must be a sign then. LOL. I know some people do not enjoy NBC but im super stoked for it! I don't like NBC or VS. They're always pointing out our flaws and praising the other teams. They did that all throughout the playoffs. Do they do that because were the best and they're trying to support the other teams, or are they just D-bags? If that doesn't help,we might have to forbid 96Homer for starting GDT's. Did some research,he/she has started 4 out of last 5 GDT's. Each one ended in a loss,like we all know.
