Sources tell TFP the Wings have been scouting the Los Angeles Kings recently (two scouts attended their Saturday home-game) and are interested in both Rob Blake and Brad Stuart.

Blake does not appear willing to waive his no-trade clause unless it's to Anaheim or San Jose, while Stuart could be a viable option for Detroit.

...they say Columbus MAY be working on a extension for Adam Foote, who wants a 2 year deal worth between $3 and $4 million dollars...

...hmmmm if The Wings trade for Fedi and The Yeti, would that be too much to pay him? In your opinion...

I'd love to see Foote in Detroit...could we afford him in terms of players/prospects/picks?

...honestly what would it take to get Fedorov and Foote here, not as much as we'd have to give up for Hossa...

...make the Hossa blockbuser and then shore it up with Feds and Foote...

...right now anyone who does who's not named Dastyuk, Zetterberg, Holmstrom, Lidstrom or Rafalski can go for all I care...

EDMONTON, Alberta -- As the Detroit Red Wings practiced at Rexall Place on Monday, working to snap out of a 1-7-1 stretch that is their worst slump in years, general manager Ken Holland anticipated working the phones well into the night and early today in hopes of adding a top-six forward and a defenseman by the 3 p.m. trade deadline.

Link?

The link to the show is not up yet. Here is a link to the page that it will be on.

TSN Trade Center

I watched it all day last year and they did a great job. Great information and they got the info out to you very very quick.

Someone claimed it was the same one that is going to be on NHL.com but i don't know if that is true. Might be worth checking them both out.

Because of Wings/Avs history?

Yeah... I just do not see an AV's player coming to play here for some reason, their personal choice ofcourse.....

The way I look at it, whoever is a thorn in the Wings side they should go out and acquire them.... Has worked in the past (usually).
