sverige 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Guys, just think about it. That's all I ask. Franzen/Lang/McCarty on the first line. I smell championship. Thank you, sir, I needed a laugh. However, adding Lang would take some pressure off of Lillypads and Rex. There can't be 3 Lazy and Sucks players.
HkyTwn 5 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 I think Babcock would rather gnaw off his left arm. my thoughts exactly
FedorovGurl 2 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Babcocks head would explode. He could not get rid of Lang (and Calder) fast enough. If I recall the quote was "bad attitudes".
#19forPresident! 1 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Seriously, Lang to Detroit. In return, a box of crayolas (with sharpener!) and a "Playing in April and Beyond, a Guide to Success" coloring book to Chicago. Get it done Kenny!

RainingBlood 8 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Hudler would have a place to live. Hahaha I know that cardboard box really sux now that Lang is gone.
SweWings 45 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 I may be desperate for Detroit to bust a move but getting Lang would just baffle me so much I'd likely die from confusion.
miller76 463 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 What do you guys think? I hear that Chicago is unhappy with him, and I think that he could fit pretty well into our lineup to add some scoring depth. Holland and Babcock would have no part of that move.
KronwallCRUNCH 5 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Holland and Babcock would have no part of that move. I can't believe that people are still posting serious replies to this.

Guest Crymson Report post Posted February 26, 2008 I'm surprised no one has mentioned yet that at one point in his career he led the league in scoring late into the season, meaning that we should get him. I hope you're not serious. If you are serious.. let's not go there.

cboth686 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 This is what Robert Lang did well in Detroit a) Take up valuable 2nd line minutes b) Eat up salary c) Hold on to the puck too long d) Show other's how to play lazy hockey e) be a complete and utter disapointment We were frustrated with him, Chicago is frustrated with him. I have never watched a guy move his legs less than Robert Lang. The only reason we're even talking about this is cause we're desperate for some secondary scoring, which WON'T be provided by Lang. stormboy 47 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Thank you, sir, I needed a laugh. However, adding Lang would take some pressure off of Lillypads and Rex. There can't be 3 Lazy and Sucks players. true. i think that's somewhere in the red wings by-laws. or is it the NHL roster rules? one or the other.
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 I saw the Hawks play the other day and Lang was useless. And yes, he was lazy and he did suck. Not at all interested, and there is absolutely no chance of him returning to Detroit.
