He let EVERYONE get away and now the Wings are f***ed. They don't have nearly enough depth defensively or offensively. I can't ******* believe it. Give GM to someone with some balls. The fact is that Holland isn't doing jacks*** today means that we probably won't be as competitive in the playoffs. In fact, Dallas just got considerably stronger today, as well as Colorado. Wait till he has Fedorov setting him up?!?! LA Kings or Florida Panthers is a disappointment. I would have loved to have Feds go to Wings. But Holland is doing just fine. Look at all the moves, how many would have made sense for the Wings? Either it would have cost us to much to get him (Richards), we don't need him (Huet), and/or there's no chance those teams would have traded with the Wings (Lapointe, Foote, Fedorov). Let me add, that adding Hossa wouldn't make sense either. Hossa is another Zetterberg and Datsyuk, and would be difficult to fit the 3 of them under the cap in the future. Hossa also is a no show in the playoffs. Sooo if you ask me. Going into the deadline, the only guys I thought made sense to add were McCarty and Sundin. We got McCarty, and Sundin decided to stay with Toronto. If we make no more deals today, I'm not upset but looking forward to getting healthy. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

There's a book here in Canada called "The 100 Greatest Hockey Arguments". One of the chapters is about the trade deadline. You don't know which end is up to begin with. By the way, did you ever respond to my question about how many teams dealt with a division rival today? NOPE. Did you even stop to think about that being a reason why Foote didn't sign here? NOPE. Did you know about his no trade clause and him saying he would only waive it to go to Colorado? NOPE. Having a different opinion is fine. But at least do your homework so that your opinion looks like it is based upon rational, critical thinking and not yammering jibberish spewed out in some expletive-laden tirade.
