OsGOD 3 Report post Posted May 2, 2008 Now which is more scratchy... those 10 bracelets or this darn beard???
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 2, 2008 Now which is more scratchy... those 10 bracelets or this darn beard??? Probably the beard. My bracelets haven't been scratchy at all. Try using conditioner in your beard. I've heard that helps. (Not that I've ever grown one, just heard it from friends that have.) As long as you're practicing good hygiene (and I'm sure you are), I'm sure it's a healthy scratch, and we do seem to have a lot of those around here. BTW, if I can find a friend with a camera, I'll post pics. I don't have one of my own.

dawings 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2008 Ok..since we've passed the first 2 rounds can I replace/fix my bracelets? I don't want to do this without checking with the hockey Gods as I don't want to piss them off...but my bracelets are looking pretty shabby. Thoughts/recommendations? 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 3, 2008 (edited) Oh crap. Forgot. 1996 called. They have your camera. Haha! Joke's on you! I didn't have a camera in 1996 either. On to dawings' problem. I don't see any problem with fixing/repairing bracelets. We want to represent our team well, don't we? As I said before, just so no one sees you without them. Even the guys sometimes trim the beards and clean the oreo crumbs out of them. Edited May 3, 2008 by 55fan

It may well be that the Hockey Goddess herself will smash down your door the second you undo the knots. Or the Wardrobe Police may charge you with a violation. And your bracelets would be charged as accessories. Just do it quietly when no one is watching.

Yzermania19 1 Report post Posted May 3, 2008 Mine are fine, aside from the white looking a little dingy. But I bound them together by round, so it looks like I am wearing two bracelets - one six-strand, red and white bracelet and one four-strand, all-red bracelet. Here's a pic - it's not a great pic and is kind of dark because I used my cell phone camera and it doesn't have a flash, and it's pretty cloudy here today - You can see how I bound them together really well on the Nashville bracelet. arnoldbuck 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2008 Ok, I'm in a rough situation. And, it is about a girl. I met her about two months back, and she was awesome. Gorgeous. Anyway, she was in town visiting a friend, and since then she has decided to move here. Now, today will be her first day here, and seeing as how her friend works with me, I imagine she will be coming to the bar where I work. Problem, I have this ugly ass beard on my face!!! This is a tough call, because I want to make that first good impression, but at the same time, I have put in two rounds of commitment into this baby. Ladies, help me out ... what do i do? (HAHA, I know the answer already, I'm just displaying my sacrifice)

(HAHA, I know the answer already, I'm just displaying my sacrifice) cleaning it up would be ok. Then explain the whole beard situation to her, and if she doesn't like it, well then tell her tough sh*t.
wingnut40 176 Report post Posted May 3, 2008 You keep the beard, duh. Beside's the 1st impression should be based on personality, not looks. Dude!!! How'd you do that? Did you just twist them all together or something.

I myself hate facial hair a lot but this is a whole new ballgame. She should understand.
