puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 3, 2008 I'm not being a Hasek slappie here, but really. 1st Goal: 5v3 power play, screened. 2nd Goal: Fluke rolling puck through three players who failed to block it. 3rd Goal: Defense leaves Lang wide open on the far side. Meanwhile the rest of the guys on the ice have no shots. Draw your own conclusions from that as to how well they're playing overall. don't bother, Crym. The Wings look like crap, so far. Funny how they don't play up to a team fighting for a playoff spot. I thought they wanted to clinch home ice, but that isn't likely tonight, unless they actually shoot some pucks at the Hawks goalie. Screw it. If they don't care, neither do I. I hate this stupid ass "Play 14 straight games against our division after we've got it clinched' crap. I hope to God someone decided to shoot at least one puck at Khabibulin. That would be nice. I honestly just turned it on as Dom was skating off the ice and don't know what happened, but when this happened to Osgood this year, wasn't it when we had the Griffins on defense? Did it even happen this early then? Again, I don't know who's fault it might've been here yet and I don't doubt Dom had much help given the teams play the last couple. I'm not judging yet, just saying, I don't recall this happening to Osgood quite like this. And also, sometimes a team like Chicago at this point has to win and you're just not going to stop them when you're playing for nothing more or less. As I've stated numerous times, the fact that it seems this sort of multi-goal flurry thing has happened to Dom multiple times this year concerns me heading into the playoffs. And as I've said about both goalies quite equally, even if they didn't get much help, you can't eliminate their fault. At that point they're just playing as mediocre as the rest of the team and yes, this second half, I believe both goalies have been fairly guilty of this equally and on a fairly regular basis in the second half.
