That's not something I would expect from Ribiero, but I guess that's what happens when you get outplayed to the point where it looks like the teams are from two different leagues. A suspension is necessary, especially since it came after Ott's little temper tantrum.

Ozzy did put his stick out as Ribiero went by, but probably wasn't trying to clip him in the face with his butt end.

Meanwhile, Osgood "deliberately" stuck the butt-end of his stick out to hit Ribeiro.

That wasn't as bad as what they said at 1st, before they even knew what happened.

Originally they said, "Maybe Osgood provoked him, we'll see" or something along those lines as if that somehow makes it ******* OK.

And now on Postgame they're making it sound like it was a vicious butt-end to Ribeiro's face, when it was actually just Ribeiro skating through the shaft of Ozzie's stick.
