Honestly, I used to respect Therrian, like, I really did, but now, I am not so sure. Babs hasnt even really complained about the dissalowed homer goals throughout the playoffs, and IMO thats worse than "obstruction"

Plus, if the Pens think what the Wings are doing is "obstruction" and they can't win with it (although they did in game 3) then they arent much of a hockey team are they? Its playoff hockey, what they see as obstruction, I see as relentless backchecking, but to each his own I guess.

This also marks one of the biggest 180's I have ever made about a coach/player in the NHL, I actually thought this crying piece of stool had dignity, honor, and talent. Don't compare everyone else to Therrien. This guy takes the cake as far as whining goes. It's one thing when fans of a team whine, because they're fans, but this is a coach we're talking about. There's supposed to be some level of professionalism here.

A goal that was allowed, could have reasonably been called off, but the rules being rules two goals have been ruled non-goals when they should have.

Pens fans have gotten awfully indignant, and you say "look at the rulebook." Well when I read the rules I see things like impedes the goalie, and that simply didn't happen.

It's funny, I was scrutinizing the Pens d after Shell-Shell had his post-game pissfest after game 2...Pitt did their fair share of obstruction in game 3, and I hope that he gets his wish. Be careful what you wish for, you little b***h.

Before the series started many penguin fans were fighting the image of having the league help Crosby to the finals. One thing they were saying is the Pens were a better team and the others fans were just bitching because they had to watch their teams get beat.

The Penguins official fan forum even had a thread asking when Detroit would start complaining about the officiating since Pittsburg was just going to be unstoppable.

Anyway to sum things up I guess MT is giving the wings a hell of a compliment with all his bitching right now. At least according to the Pittsburg fans.

now I am in no way advocating Kronwall injuring Crosby, or saying Kronwall is a perfectly clean hitter, but a Niklas Kronwall leaving his feet to hit a Rutuu is not going to result in Rutuu being injured. Now, a Dion Phaneuf leaving his feet to hit Rutuu might, but you see my point.

I believe the "leave your feet" rule is so guys dont get hit in the head, and to be honest, when Kronwall leaves his feet, he doesnt hit anyone in the head.
