Not surprising. Hanson has been doing that for over a decade, and Harris for 5 or so years now. They are the Lions 2 best players :scared:

I think the Lions can be given the only distinction of being the team with the kicker as their best player.

Maybe thats why he sticks around. I was always surprised he didn't go to a good team ever. A few years back I wouldn't have traded him for any kicker in the league...heck, he's still solid. I did hear him say once his family loves living in Michigan so if thats the case good for him.

3:40 to go in the 2nd quarter, and Green Bay's up 21-0. Let's see that "Believe in Now" commercial again.

This team never fails to amaze me on how bad they can be. Just when you think they are at their lowest, they roll up their sleeves and go lower. Gotta love that consistance.

I am also wondering why I didnt start Aaron Rodgers over Peyton Manning today in my fantasy football league. I should have known better.

Us fans need to make Ford sell the team. Newcastle United fans made Billionaire Mike Ashley put the team up for sale after he showed poor judgment in running the team for 16 months.

Lions fans have been trying for years. An NFL owner means you have permission to print money. Why would anyone want to give that up?

I seriously really do feel for this franchise and its fans. Not only did they start absolutely no better than they did against Atlanta last week, but then they play with the emotions of the fans by coming all the way back, only to get blown-out immediately thereafter. It's just amazing to me that the Ford family just doesn't demand more of this organization. They've seriously become as complacent as MLSE.

As for the Kitna, while he handed the game completely over, the Lions secondary did nothing but the same. Rodgers picked them apart almost all afternoon. Between Marinelli and Millen, they both have to go.

Sorry Lions fans (but not sorry the Packers won).

What kills me is that these are Marinelli's guys. He got the guys he wanted, despite how ridiculous it seemed.

Time for Marinelli to go along with Millen, who is the worst NFL executive EVER.

They need to open the bank to allow whomever wants to run the team to run the team. Get Bill Cowher to be GM & Head Coach....Get Marty Shottenheimer to build the team. Get someone with some F**King experience.

I actually like shottenheimer. Yeah he sucks in the playoffs but he knows how to build a team from the ground up. I think this franchise has hit rock bottom ...how can they get any worse.

I was really pissed at Kitna for all of five seconds, then the numbness kicked in. Besides, it's much easier and more fun to direct the entirety of my rage at the one man responsible for the whole awful mess in the first place: Matthew George Millen. WCF, whatever, dude's just senile and lazy. Millen is flat-out incompetent. Pure, unadulterated, 100% Grade A incompetence.

Least of our problems, you know?

Thats my point. Let's build a respectable team first. The way this franchise is...just to flirt with the playoffs is enough for me right now....come on 8-8.

I dont care if it means breaking this team completely down and leaving just Calvin Johnson and Ernie Sims...build it around those two players and get rid of everyone else.

3 or 4 weeks ago I was talking to HR40 about football and as a joke I said if I were in charge I'd get rid of everyone except Calvin Johnson. Naturally, she said, "Are you serious?" and I wasn't.... at the time.

Well... maybe I'd keep Rogers just in case he gets another pick and runs it to the endzone like last year. That was the most entertaining three minutes of the season.

 Run Shaun!!

Niner's lead it 21-3 at the half. Howie Long is saying he's shocked at the Lions effort today; although in Detroit it's nothing new. I'm just about done with this team. I don't konw how many chances we've all given them, I'm almost at my limit. This is now beyond pitiful. Maybe they want to tank the season so they can draft another bum reciever with a high pick.

I'm officially on the Fire Marinelli bandwagon. Blow up the organization. Not that I wasn't already on the Fire Millen bandwagon about four or five years ago. Everyone from Millen on down to the ball boy needs to be thrown out on their ass. What a pathetic clownshow.

When I go home for Thanksgiving, I'll be pulling for the team to win, because I can't help myself when I actually watch the games - it's like someone throws a YAY LIONS switch in my head. When I'm not watching the team, I hope they get blown the f*** out 62-3 every ******* game so the ******* f***ups running the show have to either clear the f*** out or live with their complete ******* failure and total ******* inability to perform a ******* job. I hope it is killing them inside, but I'm betting not.

I don't blame the players. They're just players. There've been some cancers, but for the most part they're just players. If there wasn't giant black hole of f***upitude sitting in the Ford Field offices, they'd be scattered around the league being harmlessly inept for other teams, and probably at least getting decent coaching. It's not their fault Assclown Millen brought them all into one place and Assclown Marinelli can't coach them. Marinelli made sure "his" kind of guy got brought in - apparently he prefers No Talent to Talent. Millen seems to prefer Talent but wouldn't know what Talent is if it ran him over with a ******* bus.

f*** MILLEN.

Oh by the way. It's time to bench Kitna. Yeah, he's a warrior, and a stand up kind of guy, but I'm over that now. Put in Stanton and or Orvolsky and see what the young guys can do, because as of now we may have a shot to draft the No. 1 QB on the board, and we need to know what the other QB's on the roster can do.
